The Church is the GATEWAY OF HEAVEN and TO HEAVEN
Genesis 28:10-22, Then Jacob departed from Beersheba and went toward Haran. He came to acertain place and spent the night there, because the sun had set; and he took one of the stones of the place and put it under his head, and lay down in that place. He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its preaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, “I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land onwhich you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants. “Your descendants will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out tothe west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place,and I did not know it.” He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.” So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on its top. He called the name of that place Bethel; however, previously the name of the city had been Luz. Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I take, and will give me food to eat and garments to wear,and I return to my father’s house in safety, then the LORD will be my God. “This stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”
📢The Church is connected to Heaven.
It does not have an origin here on the earth. When Jesus was exalted at the right hand of God He received the Name higher than every other name. He received the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit. His work on the Cross was approved by His coronation and the crowning at the Throne. He received the pledge from the Father that all His enemies will be His footstool.
Then the Holy Spirit was sent to empower the hundred and twenty gathered in the upper room to receive His Name and be His representatives here on this earth. Then His Kingdom rule began on earth in and through the church.
📢The Church operates under the authority of God from heaven.
The Church is now an official agent of heaven’s kingdom. It is A LEGAL ENTITY OF HEAVEN. It is deputized by ALL AUTHORITY and ALL POWER in heaven. Jesus is the King and the Church is the executor of His authority and power here on earth. The stimulus of authority is not within her or anywhere here on earth. Surely it is not Rome or Jerusalem or the denominational headquarters.
She carries the authority of God to enforce His rule and reign over all His enemies.
📢The Church operates to express His government from heaven.
The King is already on His Throne. His reign has already begun in heaven.He is exerting His rule to subdue all His enemies. Sin, sicknesses, satanic forces and all situations must now bow to His rule. Every place the sole of the church will tread on will usher His presence and His rule.
Joshua 1:3,5, “Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses. … “No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
His government will be established and His influence will be felt. God will increase His territorial influence and impact on the region as the church allows His government to permeate through them into every domain of the world systems.
📢The Church reveals the One who is on the Throne in heaven.
The church is His Body and He is the Head. She expresses and reveals Him to all mankind.
John 1:18, No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.
John 6:46, “Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.
Colossians 1:15-19, He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and In him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and Heis the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,
Galatians 1:15-16, But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood,
The church manifests the thoughts, desires and actions of her Head. His plans,His greatness and His nature are all expressed through her here on earth. Jesus, while on earth in His human body expressed fully the Godhead so the church is assigned to express Him upon the earth. This is our reasonable form of worship.
Romans 12:1, Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
