What we choose to focus on has the power to shape how we think, feel and live. 👀✨

This Sunday, Pastor Anny Porotloane reminded us through the Word that in a world filled with distractions and temporary things, we have the power to shift our focus. We are called to set our minds on things above, fixing our eyes not on what is temporal, but on what is eternal.

As we fix our eyes on Jesus, we must also put to death the things of our earthly nature; letting go of anger, malice, impurity and everything that distracts us from the life God has called us to live.

But it doesn't end with emptying ourselves. We must allow God to fill us with good things.

Take your eyes off the distractions. Shift your focus. Fix your eyes to Jesus.

Sunday was a powerful reminder that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it.

Ms Omolemo Moabi reminded us that silence isn’t absence, teaching us through Saul that we must never become addicted to God’s blessings at the expense of obedience.

Ms Bulelwa Mohapi challenged us to examine whether we truly honour God from our hearts by showing Christ through love, honesty and integrity.

Mrs Nthabiseng Sehloho reminded us that, like Hannah, our pain can carry purpose, while Ms Wendy Mohanoe encouraged us that even in our darkest wilderness seasons, the God who sees us has never lost sight of us.

It's time to wake up from our slumber! We are called to be the light of the world and trailblazers so that others can see salvation through the way we live. No more sleeping on our purpose.

Deaconess Ramokone, "Crawling Back to Jesus"
Through the story of the woman with the issue of blood, we saw that her healing wasn't just physical, it was an identity restoration. She was no longer "the woman with the issue of blood." Jesus called her "daughter." He's not just healing you, He's renaming you.

Deaconess Khampepe, "Divine Agitation"
From the story of Mordecai and Esther, we were reminded that the King can turn things around in your favour! There are records in the Kingdom of the good we've sown that we haven't yet been compensated for. There are debts with YOUR name on them and it's time to claim them back. SUNDAY RECAP✨

This Sunday, we were reminded that our walk with God requires us to leave behind what once satisfied us and pursue what has eternal value.

Mrs Mpanda took us to the well where Jesus encountered the Samaritan woman, reminding us that the things we often trust to satisfy us; relationships, achievements, possessions, recognition and worldly pleasures will always leave us thirsty. Jesus, however, offers LIVING WATER that satisfies the soul.

Then, Mrs Phori taught about “The Existence of the Book.” In a world that encourages us to chase titles, accolades and recognition, we were challenged to focus on what truly matters eternally.

And through it all, we were reminded that we have been given the Word of God as our guide. The Bible directs our steps, shapes our lives and keeps our focus on God’s will.

Leave the well. Open the Book. Follow the Word. Pursue Jesus.

Because at the end of it all, what matters is not what the world remembers about us, but whether our names are written in the Book of Life.
