*🎳 YOUTH GTG RECAP 🎳*31 /05 2026

What a night at the Bowling Club! 🙌

We bowled, we laughed, we cheered each other on... and yes, a few gutter balls happened 😂 But the real win was fellowship.

From strikes to snacks, God’s grace + love of God’s people made it perfect.

*2 Cor 13:14* _“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”_ That’s exactly what we felt tonight.

Thanks to everyone who came through! Already hyped for the next GTG 👊

*Service Summary – 2 Corinthians 13:14*
*Theme verse:* “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

*Conducted by:* Priest Ceaser
* Call up:* Priest Mawona

- *Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ* – Unmerited favor and salvation through Christ. He reminded the church that our standing with God is by grace, not works.
- *Love of God* – The Father’s sacrificial, unconditional love as the foundation of our faith and how we should love one another.
- *Fellowship of the Holy Spirit* – The Holy Spirit’s role in uniting believers, giving comfort, and enabling us to live out the Christian life together.

The service centered on the Trinity - Father’s love, Son’s grace, Spirit’s fellowship - as the source of unity and strength for believers.

Both our choirs rendid beautiful hyms during the service

The priests dismissed the church with a greeting, shaking hands and fellowship at the altar as we carry the blessing into the week.

*Bethelsdorp Sunday School Music & Choir – Children’s Session

It was a lively morning as the children came together for music and choir, from the youngest beginners right through to the orchestra.

The *beginners started on recorders*, learning simple notes and rhythm patterns. You could hear the excitement as they played their first melodies together, with lots of focus and a few proud smiles when it clicked.

The *choir group* worked on songs for the upcoming service, singing with energy and paying attention to harmony and timing. It was great to see the older kids helping the younger ones find their parts.

Meanwhile, the *orchestra* brought everything together with strings, percussion, and winds. They practiced coordinating with the choir and gave the session a fuller, joyful sound that filled the hall.

Across all groups, the kids were engaged, supportive of each other, and clearly enjoying making music together. The room was full of learning, laughter, and a real sense of teamwork.

Thanks to the teachers and helpers who made it run smoothly. The children are growing in skill and confidence.

*Bethelsdorp Extension Congregation Youth Bible Study – Preparation for Pentecost | 18/05/2026

Our Bible study focused on *Preparation for Pentecost*, combining fellowship, learning, and reflection.

We began with an icebreaker: a Bible-themed interactive quiz and challenge centered on Pentecost and key biblical teachings. This set an engaging tone and got everyone involved.

The main study broke down the word *PENTECOST* using Scripture:
- *P* – Prayer
- *E* – Evangelism
- *N* – New Creation
- *T* – Tongues
- *E* – Everyone
- *C* – Church
- *O* – Obey
- *S* – Spirit
- *T* – Trinity / Together

Deacon Brooks led the teaching, explaining what Pentecost is and its significance for us today. He encouraged us not to be afraid, but to embrace and use the gifts of the Spirit in our daily lives. Priest Calico reinforced these points, emphasizing the importance of Pentecost’s message and its ongoing relevance to the Church.

The session left us encouraged to pray, witness boldly, and walk in unity through the Spirit.

*Congregation Activities – Saturday 16th May*

It was a full and joyful Saturday at church as members came together for cleaning, music, and fellowship.

The morning started with a *church-wide cleaning*. Teams tackled the sanctuary, fellowship hall, and grounds, making sure everything was fresh and ready for Sunday service. Thanks to everyone who showed up and a willing spirit - the place looks great.

In the afternoon, the *music group gathered for practice*. We ran through hymns and worship songs for the upcoming service.

We wrapped things up with some fun outside the church. It was a good reminder that church is as much about community as it is about worship.

Thanks to everyone who participated. It was a productive day that left the church clean, the music ready, and the fellowship stronger.

Seniors Day Celebration – A Blessing of Fellowship and Song

Our care group gathered to honour and celebrate our senior members during a special Seniors Day.

The highlight of the afternoon was a musical programme presented by our youth group. With gratitude and care, the young people led the congregation in a selection of hymns. Their reverence and enthusiasm created an atmosphere of worship and joy, with many seniors.

Beyond the performance, the event fostered meaningful intergenerational fellowship.

The afternoon concluded with a prayer of thanksgiving for the lives of our seniors and for the spirit of service displayed by our youth.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the youth group and all volunteers who contributed to making Seniors Day a memorable and uplifting occasion. May we continue to nurture these bonds of fellowship within our congregation.

*Youth Service – Palmridge Congregation*
*Led by Apostle G. Mentoor*
*Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:33* – _“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”_

Apostle G. Mentoor delivered an uplifting message to the youth at Palmridge, centered on *Matthew 6:33* and the call to prioritize God above all else. The service emphasized that when young people place God’s kingdom and His righteousness first in their lives, their needs, purpose, and direction will follow.
