Zechariah 4:6–9 (KJV)
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, "This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, 'Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,' saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, 'Grace, grace unto it.'" ... Part 3: Guard Your Mind and Hold On to Faith

Remember Zerubbabel — he started something, and God stood by him to help him. God understands that there will be opposition, and the Holy Spirit can turn that very opposition into support. As long as you believe God is with you, the people who once laughed at you will one day want to celebrate with you.Don't look at your opposition — look at where you're going. Don't count how many people are against you — look at your destination. Don't lose focus because of opposition in whatever you're doing. There is a big God by your side. And as for that opposition — tomorrow, some of them will even claim they were supporting you all along.

If anything comes to touch you — anything that makes you want to give up — don't allow that thing to sit in your mind. Don't ever say to yourself, "I'm a failure." The moment you start to think like that, you are already defeated from within.
Any battle you come across in life, you must first defeat from within. That's why the Bible keeps telling us that our minds must be renewed. As a child of God, how you see things must change. You must always see yourself as victorious. You must always see yourself as more than a conqueror — because through the Holy Spirit, the overcomer lives in you.May God bless you. That is where we end for today.

But before we close, let me say this: don't throw away your faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. If you want to see the hand of God moving on your behalf, hold on to faith. Every door will open in your life. Whatever you are looking for, you will receive — but don't throw away your faith.

Part 2: Faith in Action — Zerubbabel and the Four Lepers

When you start to believe and start to act, God works. You might be surrounded by many who seem ready to overwhelm you, but once faith is active in you, you will pass through them — and God can even turn opposition into friendship along the way.There's a story of four men with leprosy in 2 Kings. These men were put outside the city because of their condition. But something pushed them to say, "Whether we sit here or go there, we will die anyway — so let's go." Along the way, the Holy Spirit caused the enemy camp to hear the sound of a great army approaching, and the attackers fled. Because of that step of faith, the men found abundant provision freely.

That is faith working with the Holy Spirit. Many of us don't see the hand of God in our lives because we are not stepping out. That's why God speaks first to a prophet — to carry the message and stir up faith — so that His people don't need a multitude to help them; they simply need to believe and move forward.Sometimes the very thing standing before you as a mountain only needs you to apply faith and walk straight into it. Without mountains, we would never see the power of God. The reason we encounter challenges in life is so we can know the power and capability of God — but that power is released only when we activate faith within us. Without faith and the Spirit, it will never manifest.Faith is the key that unlocks the power of God to work in your life. Without faith, nothing works in your life. Without faith, nothing changes in your life.

Before you see everything change on the outside, the change must start from within you. You must change how you think. You must change how you see things. Then you will start to see change happening in your life. Start removing the negativity about yourself. Believe that better days are coming into your life — believe that.
Things will start to change for the better. The problem with many people is that they are just living, just existing. Whenever a wave comes, they let that wave push them down. Any sound of trouble is allowed to bring them down. Don't let go of hope. Don't allow hope to leave you — because once hope leaves your heart, you no longer carry power within you.Sometimes the people who win are those who believe in God. If you believe God is with you, understand that God will not do everything for you — God wants you to act, and then His Spirit will help you. When you read John chapter 14, we hear that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter. He is your comfort when you are in tears. In the book of Romans, we hear that the Holy Spirit helps us to overcome.

Part 1: The Mountain and the Measure of Faith

Let's open our Bibles to the book of Zechariah, chapter 4, verses 6 through 9 — a chapter we all know well, and a scripture we love to quote: "Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit."
We are a blessed generation. In the Old Testament, God's people were given prophets and instructions to follow. But we have received the Spirit — the Spirit of the Father. That is why we are blessed to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us.Can someone read for us Matthew 17:20-21?Notice — a mountain is mentioned in Matthew, just as a mountain is mentioned in Zechariah 4. Jesus was not just giving a random example. He chose a mountain because a mountain is something massive — something that, by human strength, is impossible to move. But through faith, Jesus said, all things are possible.

In Zechariah, we hear of another mountain. We know the story — Zerubbabel was rebuilding the temple, and there was opposition. People were fighting against him to stop what he was doing.
With the human mind, when there is opposition, we think we need more soldiers. When we're struggling, we think we need more money to finish what we're building. But when the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, God said: "Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit."Why did God reveal this to Zechariah specifically? Because Zechariah was a prophet, and whenever God reveals something to a prophet, He is sending that prophet to carry the message to the people. God was sending Zechariah to go and tell Zerubbabel: what you are facing is about to be removed.

But why didn't God simply remove the mountain Himself, without informing Zechariah and Zerubbabel first? This is where Matthew 17:20 comes in — Jesus speaking about faith.
To activate the Holy Spirit's power to manifest in your life, you need faith. God understood that even if He removed the mountain, if Zerubbabel was already defeated on the inside — if he had already given up, saying, "I'm facing too much opposition, my resources can't finish what I started" — then even an open way would not help him, because he would still sit down in defeat.So when the word came to Zerubbabel, faith was activated: God is with me.Whenever you face a challenge, you must first conquer it from within — before you ever see it removed on the outside. When we talk about "the mountain," we are talking about whatever challenge you are facing. If you are already defeated on the inside, you cannot overcome it outside, even if God clears everything ahead of you. You might have a thousand people willing to help you, but if you yourself are not willing to fight, nothing will move in your life. When God told Zechariah to go and speak to Zerubbabel, He was activating faith in Zerubbabel — so that Zerubbabel would know: God is with me.

Trust and Guidance (Psalm 25)

I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.Show me your ways, Lord; teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.

Declaration of Victory

I walk in victory. I walk in divine protection. I walk in supernatural favor.I declare that every chain of delay, every chain of disappointment, every chain of destruction, and every chain of failure is broken in the name of Jesus. Every thought of prophecy, every thought of breakthrough, every thought of abandonment open! Open! Open!
By the stripes of Jesus Christ, I am healed. I am strengthened. I am made whole. I am delivered.
I declare that this is the season of my favor, in everything that God has called me to do.
