When believers faced the furnace, Jesus was already there. Their ropes were removed, not by the flames, but by Christ himself. He comes to untie what binds you, even in your darkest, fieriest moments.

Using substances or habits to escape life's problems can become a crutch, pulling you away from healing and God. True strength comes from relying on faith, not on things that mask your struggles.

We pray for healing, provision, and safety, sometimes telling God exactly what we want. But what happens when the answer isn't what we expected? Witnessing others receive what we prayed for can bring unique challenges to faith.

Thrown into a blazing furnace with ropes, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced a king's command. Yet, the ropes vanished, their clothes untouched, and miraculously, a fourth figure stood with them. This is about drawing your line, even when facing the fire.

There was Jesus...

Most people think courage shows up in the big moments.

But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't start standing before a fiery furnace. They started at a dinner table.

Long before they refused to bow to a golden statue, they made small decisions to honor God when nobody was paying attention. Their public faithfulness was built on private obedience.

The same is true for us.

Every day, the world plays its music and invites us to bow to comfort, approval, success, or whatever happens to be popular at the moment. Following Jesus sometimes means being the one still standing.

The good news? We never stand alone.

The God who stood with three men in the furnace is the same Jesus who walks with us through every trial, every pressure, and every hard decision today.
Our hope isn't that we've gotten everything right. Our hope is that Jesus makes us new.

Choose faithfulness in the small things today. You never know what God is preparing you for tomorrow.

Grace & Peace,
FirstNaz
