Join churches across the country!

On Sunday, June 28, commissioners and advisory delegates to the 227th General Assembly will fan out across Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to worship with congregations at area PC(USA) churches. As of this week, worship planners and leaders across the country have a new resource to help them put together a worship service in their own context for that Sunday or another Sunday of their choosing. PDA is there to help!

Through PDA, the PC(USA) is supporting our partners in the Philippines as they respond to the needs following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Sarangani Province and neighboring areas in Southeastern Mindanao the morning of June 8th; communities are still experiencing aftershocks. Thousands of families have been affected and are currently facing urgent humanitarian needs. A solidarity grant is supporting emergency relief efforts to provide food assistance, drinking water, hygiene supplies, temporary shelter materials, psychosocial support, and other essential services to the most vulnerable families.

Wonderful!

For 20 years, Huntingdon Presbyterian Church in Huntington, Pennsylvania, was the site of a free weekly meal for local residents. It was a way for the central Pennsylvania congregation to give back to its community while meeting a need in its neighborhood.

Good Morning Church Family!

It has been brought to our attention that someone pretending to be Pastor Mark (AGAIN) is emailing some folks in our congregation with photos to download. If you get an email from someone asking for money, to buy something for them, wanting you to download photos, or anything like that, please know that this is not Pastor Mark. Please delete and mark as spam.

The email addresses are fake, but they'll often be his name or some combination of his first and last name/initials. Pastor Mark will never email to ask you to send him money, buy something for him, ask for your help managing an ambiguous task, or with random photos to download. If he ever needs to talk to you about something specific (it won't be money related!), he will call you directly.

We're sorry about this! We wish these individuals would use their creativity for something positive instead!

Thank you for just deleting (and reporting Spam!) any funky emails you get, with odd requests or weird attachments (don't click on them!), from someone claiming to be Pastor Mark.
