One year ago today a group of like-minded believers gathered in a living room, praying together and seeking God’s guidance, and out of that meeting Living Hope Church of Yuma was born.

Since that day, our church has been blessed beyond measure! Through youth activities, service projects, Bible studies, baptisms, VBS, retreats, and many a potluck, our church has flourished and is thriving.

Today we celebrate one year of Living Hope, but we cannot take any glory for ourselves.

None of this would be possible without the great miracles and blessings that God has poured out on our church! He has provided for every single need and has given more than we could have ever imagined. We know that He will continue to do so as our church continues to grow!

Pray for Living Hope Church as we continue to spread God’s love in our community. It is our desire to follow God’s Word and reach others for His Kingdom. Love God, love others, and follow Jesus!

We can’t wait to celebrate together this Sunday at church! We hope to see you there!

The teens had a blast tonight doing the hide and seek youth activity! We had a bunch of adults from Living Hope Church and Veritas Christian Academy hide in various costumes and in various places in Yuma Palms, and the teens had to find them. Shout out to the winning team pictured below and a big thank you to all the adults who participated! Wish we would have got a picture of the whole group; there was about 40 teens that came!

Several of our ladies and girls attended the Ladies and Girls retreat at Grandview Camp last weekend! We had a wonderful time together in the cooler weather. We spent time playing games, doing crafts, and enjoying God’s creation. We heard from the guest speaker, Faith Taylor, about how we are called to live out our faith.

God’s grace and provision was shown, as He kept us safe on the (slightly chaotic) trip up to camp (ask Meredith about her tire😅). His love was shown through His Word, and everyone left feeling encouraged in their faith and their relationships with each other. Praise God!

In addition to helping at New Life Pregnancy Center today, our teens also served at a Brighter Day Ministries which serves the homeless in our community. The teens did an excellent job putting together food giveaway bags. Miss Laurie, the director, was blown away by how much they got done in such a short amount of time. We sure are proud of our teens and thank God for them. Thank you to everyone who donated food and items for this project. We know the Lord will use it for His glory!
