This Father's Day, we celebrated with a powerful reminder: God has given us exceedingly great and precious promises, but walking in them requires more than just showing up. Faith is the starting point, but it's what we ADD to our faith that sustains us for the journey.

Peter gives us the roadmap in 2 Peter 1:5-7 - add virtue to your faith, then knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. These aren't optional extras; they're essential ingredients. Just like leaving out flour ruins a cake, skipping these steps leaves us spiritually malnourished.

Your faith is too important to take for granted. The calling God has placed on your life matters. There are divine appointments waiting for you, but you must be prepared when they come. It's time to move beyond casual Christianity and become vessels of God's agape love - love with skin on that leaves lasting change wherever we go.

What if the breakthrough you've been praying for starts with a simple decision to repent and turn to God?

This Sunday, we encountered a powerful truth from Acts 3:19 - when we genuinely repent and turn to God, our sins are wiped away and times of refreshing come from the Lord. Revival isn't just about miracles and healings; it begins with hearts that are willing to change their minds, abandon the old life, and fully surrender to Jesus.

We can't add Jesus to our existing life like another subscription service. Following Christ requires us to die to ourselves and be born again - leaving behind pride, religiosity, and half-hearted commitment. The good news? When we truly turn to Him, He brings refreshing, freedom, and new life that transforms everything.

Are you ready for a time of refreshing? It starts with repentance and a radical commitment to follow Jesus wherever He leads. The altars are open, and He's waiting to meet you there.

What happens when we disconnect from our source of life? Just like the stunning petrified wood at the Grand Canyon—once living trees, now beautiful stones—we can become hardened when separated from Christ, the true Vine.

This Sunday, we explored John 15:1-6 and discovered a powerful truth: staying connected to the Source unlocks God's potential in our lives. Jesus isn't looking to discard dead wood—He's a restorative God who lifts us up, cleanses us, and prunes us so we can bear incredible fruit.

Are you carrying burdens that were never meant to be yours? God is inviting you to throw off that heavy yoke and abide in Him. When we actively choose to remain connected to the Vine, there's nothing the enemy can do to stop what God wants to accomplish through us. He chose you. He wants to reverse the hardening and bring new life.
