A few weeks ago, here at First Assembly, Pastor Joe preached a message titled “The Gospel Is Still for Today.”
We closed the service by writing down the names of the people we’re believing God to save, restore, and bring back home.

Now, we want to ask you: 𝙒𝙄𝙇𝙇 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙅𝙊𝙄𝙉 𝙐𝙎 𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙍𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍?

Pray with us for the names that were written down that day, and for the names of the lost people in your own life. Let’s continue to pray for them today and every day, believing that they will encounter Jesus and come home to the Kingdom.
As a church family, we’re believing for the lost, the prodigals, and the ones who feel far from God.

We’re praying. We’re believing. We’re making room.

We’re already looking ahead to the next few weeks and all the opportunities we have to gather together. Here are a few upcoming dates to keep on your calendar:

Sundays @ 10AM — Sunday Morning Service + 1st Kids
Saturdays @ 7AM — Men’s Alliance
Wednesdays @ 7PM — Warehouse Students (ages 12–18)
Wed. 26th @ 7PM — Warehouse Students Parents’ Night
Fri. 28th @ 7PM — YA NOW (ages 18–30)

What if God does not just ask you to walk the hard road, but walks it first?

This Sunday, we were reminded through Genesis 15 that when Abram could not fulfill his end of the covenant, God stepped in and walked the blood path himself. That is who our God is. He goes first.
From praying over cards filled with the names of the lost, to sending missionaries Kyle and Holly Truern to Genoa, Italy, this was a morning full of purpose and power. The blood of Jesus still speaks a better word over your marriage, your family, your fears, and your future.
Whatever road is ahead of you, you do not walk it alone. God goes before you, and the body of Christ stands behind you. Come follow him.
