Topic: "Beautiful" (Message Board)
The Gospel according to Luke:
From the book of Acts Chapter 3 the message of the miracle of lame man. Scripture says Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. (Things happen when you pray). A certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, when they laid daily at the gate of the temple (in Jerusalem) which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them the entered the temple. (Why the lame man sits at the gate? He was physically unable to work; he had a condition and relied on the generosity of others for his means). Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked of them alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said look on us.
The Peter said, silver and gold have I none' but such as I have given I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth RISE UP AND WALK. (We pray for what we think we need, but God always supersedes it and sees beyond. The man sat in his condition long enough) The man sat strategically in place to receive from others.
He (Peter) took him by the right hand and lifted him up; and IMMEDIATELY his feet and bones received strength. (Somethings the Lord will do right away)
At that moment, leaping up the man stood and walked and entered the temple leaping and praising God. The people saw it was a miracle and were amazed and wondered what happened to man who once sat at the gate called, Beautiful. We must wait for the Lord and when it is our time or when it is your time, he will make it happen. When it happens, it is all for his Glory!
The gate called Beautiful was constructed it says with Corinthian bronze, the value of it was different and adorned with silver and gold. It was an attractive entry to the temple, but it was where a beautiful miracle happened.
In conclusion, this Act was set up so that the lame man or beggar would no longer have to depend on others but on his ability through Jesus Christ and so that others can witness God's power as well as get the glory!
Grab hold to this message and trust that the Lord will come to your rescue. God bless you!
