We’re an open & affirming justice seeking church, established in May 2024. Grandview Church is an *open & affirming, justice-seeking church.

Our mission is to be a center of transformation where we partner with God in making gentle our bruised world. Worship is at 9am on Sundays at The Belmont Theatre. Contemporary (guitars) worship, casual attire, nursery for kids, and service lasts 1 hour. Formation Hour for everyone (nursery to adult) happens at 10am. We would love for you to visit! More about us: Jesus Christ calls Grandview Church to be a fully inclusive church, recognizing the sacred worth of all people, including those of every race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We embrace those who are marginalized for any reason. Grandview cultivates respectful discussion of differences among all who seek to love their neighbors. We believe God is love. Beyond that, we are a community of all sorts of people and a wide variety of ideas. We practice a thinking faith that likes questions. We don't take the Bible literally; we do take it very seriously. We make our spirituality active through acts of justice locally and globally.

Join us this Sunday, November 1st, as we honor All Saints’ Day. 🕊️🕯️

This annual holy day is a time of remembrance and gratitude for the saints who have gone before us into eternal life. We give thanks for the lives they lived, the love they shared, and the ways their presence continues to shape our lives and our faith.

All are invited to participate in a time of remembrance during the service. We also invite you to bring photographs or small mementos of your beloveds to share during our time together.

Whether you are remembering a loved one recently lost or honoring generations past, we welcome you to hold space, pray, and remember with us. 🤍

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. And love your neighbor as yourself.” 🌿

Most of us know the Greatest Commandment. We can recite it, quote it, and agree with it. As Pastor Jesse pointed out on Sunday, the gap in our faith is rarely informational—it’s the space between knowing what love requires and finding ourselves unable to deliver it.

So, what gets in the way? And how do we bridge that gap? This week, we looked at three grounded practices that make room for love to flow freely:
✨ Gratitude: Keeping the vertical flow of God’s love overflowing into our daily lives. ✨ Humility: Making interior space for others to matter as much as we do.
✨ Habits: Building rhythms that support consistency over fleeting motivation.

How about this beautiful setting for our Youth Carving and Campfire this past Sunday?! 😍🍁☀️

We had a great time gathering with youth and families for a friendly pumpkin carving competition, delicious dinner, and warm campfire!

We continued our Real Relationships series, this time with a focus on friendships. What’s the purpose of friendships, and how do we cultivate healthy ones?

Great discussion, and more to come as we continue the series at our local Youth Retreat next month!

“Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God.” 🪙

When challenged with a trap, Jesus looked beyond the coin to ask a deeper question: Whose image do we bear?

Everything we are, and everything we have, is a gift from God. Moving into the Kingdom’s gift economy isn’t about rigid rules or all-or-nothing changes overnight; it’s about the long, slow, and joyful practices of gratitude and generosity.

Here are three simple ways you can jump into Love in Action with us this month:
