We have been adopted into a family by taking that first step in making Jesus our Lord over our life. In the adoption because my oldest brother is called righteous, then I am declared righteous.

The early church would have understood it this way. That by being adopted into the family of Jesus we are now righteous by association. This doesn't give us the right or openness to sin but gives us the path to going to the Light and allowing that time to change us and to become more like Jesus.

You can take the first steps in being adopted into the family. We would love to direct you in that.

Coming to Christ will help you in the long run.

Remember grace gives you the ability to keep going to Jesus when you miss the mark. It doesn't give you the right to sin, it gives you the ability to come to Jesus and ask him to help change what you are doing. The point of this lifetime is to practice coming to the Lord every chance we get both in sin and in righteousness and then to share that with people that they may come to know Jesus.
