Family and Friends in Christ,

We would like to share an update regarding Nolan Pettigrew. He is resting at home and doing well. The Pettigrew Family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone who assisted him at church today.

We ask that you continue to keep Nolan in your prayers, trusting in the Lord for continued strength, healing, and rest.

Following Jesus is more than believing in him — it is choosing his way each day. It means putting aside our own desires when they lead us away from God, carrying the crosses we are given and trusting Christ to walk with us through them.

Discipleship is not always easy, but we never carry the cross alone. May we have the courage to follow wherever Christ leads.

✝️ Jesus, give us the strength to take up our cross and follow you.

There is something profound about simply being in the presence of God. In the quiet of a church, before the tabernacle or in Eucharistic Adoration, we are invited to turn our attention away from the noise of the world and toward the One who knows and loves us completely.

May we make time this week to seek the Lord, rest in his presence and allow our hearts to be filled with his peace.

🙏 Lord, help us to keep our eyes fixed on you.

Jesus became man for several reasons: In order to save us by reconciling us with God, so that we might know God's love, to be our model of holiness and to make us partakers of the divine nature.

Humankind needed to be reconciled with God after the original sin of Adam and Eve and the personal sins humans commit. Jesus brought about this reconciliation.

His life, death and resurrection (what we call "the Paschal Mystery") testify to the great love that God has for us, and so do creation, his continued presence in the Church, the sacraments -- especially the Eucharist -- and his promise to come again at the end of the world.

Jesus invites us to be holy by imitating him. In so doing, we reflect God's holiness and witness to Trinitarian love. By sharing in God's divine nature through sanctifying grace, we become holy. Great saints and ordinary holy people -- fathers, mothers, friends -- through the ages testify to the holiness that God shares with those who love him.

Life's storms can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain or afraid. Yet in the midst of the wind and waves, Jesus speaks words that still bring peace today: "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid."

Whatever you may be facing this week, remember that Christ is with you. He calls us to trust him, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.

God's truth has the power to take root in our hearts and bear fruit in our lives. When we choose honesty, mercy and compassion, we become instruments of his justice and peace in the world.

May we seek God's truth each day and reflect his love in the way we live, speak and serve others.

On the Feast of the Transfiguration, Jesus revealed his divine glory to Peter, James and John, giving them a glimpse of the resurrection to come. This moment on the mountaintop strengthened the disciples for the journey ahead and reminds us that Christ's light shines even through the challenges we face.

As we celebrate this feast, may we listen to the Father's words: "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him." (Matthew 17:5)

May the light of Christ transform our hearts and guide us to reflect his love in the world.
