*[Trivia Night] 🍬 SKIP THE TRICKING, COME FOR THE TREATS!*

Join us this Saturday for Family Trivia Night at ZF! An evening of friendly competition, prizes, snacks, and time together as a community.

We’ll begin with a brief discussion on Halloween: Why don’t Muslims celebrate or participate in it? How can we help our children understand the Islamic perspective and feel confident in their Muslim identity?

Afterward, we’ll move into family trivia!

👨‍👦 Downstairs: Fathers and sons compete together.
👩‍👧 Upstairs: Mothers and daughters compete together. Boys under 9 may stay with their moms.
🏆 Each family competes as its own team. Families participating on both floors will have their scores averaged into one final family score.

👥 Open to everyone — families, couples, and individuals!

More than anything, we hope to provide a wholesome alternative for our families, reinforce our children’s Muslim identity, and bring our community together for an enjoyable evening.

Understanding the Science Behind Scholarly Differences

We’ve all heard it: “But the hadith is ṣaḥīḥ! Why don’t we just follow it?”

If the four Imams followed the same Qur’an and Sunnah, why did they sometimes arrive at different rulings? Did some Imams miss certain hadiths? And can two scholars accept the same authentic narration yet understand it differently?

Join us for a special two-hour workshop exploring the remarkable scholarship behind these differences.

② Interpretation of Hadith
③ Reconciling Apparently Conflicting Evidence
④ Methodology of the Four Madhhabs

Fityah Sisters is kicking off with Bonfire Night 🔥 — a relaxed evening for sisters ages 15–25 to gather, connect, unwind, and build friendships with other young Muslim sisters in the community.

Fityah Sisters is youth-led programming planned and organized by young sisters themselves, with Rida Siddiqua serving as the Fityah Sisters Coordinator under the supervision and guidance of Imam Numaan and Zubaida Foundation.
