Fr. Doug Moore was the celebrant at a St. Michael Family Mass for the first time this morning at St. Brigid Catholic Church. Fr. Moore and Fr. Curtis Gross were selected to be the Family's next parochial vicars after their ordination to the priesthood last month. Fr. Gross's first time as a celebrant at a St. Michael Mass is scheduled for the 8:30 a.m. Mass at Saint Luke tomorrow. Both officially join the Family as vicars on July 1.

We need an army of helpers on Saturday, June 6th at 9:30am at St. Brigid to help decorate for the procession. This will involve working with dyed wood chips, so bring work clothes!

To celebrate the upcoming Feast of Corpus Christi more fully, we plan to hold four Eucharistic processions next weekend (June 6/7) at the end of four Masses:

4:30 p.m. at St. Brigid
11:00 a.m. at St. Luke
11:30 a.m. at St. Paul
12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart

All second graders are especially invited to witness the love of Jesus in the Eucharist by wearing their First Communion outfits and taking up their important place of leadership in the processions.

Due to the power outage on Purcell Dr., the Parish Office is currently closed. AES has stated it could be a few more hours before power is restored.

Please note that the Church and School both have power and are operating as normal. We will share updates as they become available. Thank you for your understanding.

Pentecost Vigil at St. Brigid
The 4:30 p.m. Mass at St. Brigid on Saturday, May 23, will feature the extended Vigil for Pentecost. This special liturgy includes additional Scripture readings, psalms, and prayers that reflect on the coming of the Holy Spirit and the life of the Church.
The extended vigil offers a more reflective and immersive experience than the standard vigil Mass and provides an ideal occasion to welcome several baptized non-Catholics into full communion with the Church, as well as to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. All are welcome to attend.
