COMMUNITY VBS
The VBS committee made the difficult decision to cancel the week long VBS event this summer due to a need for more volunteers in some key roles. The committee will meet again on Wednesday, June 3rd at 7pm to plan a one-day VBS event in August. More information will follow once planning is underway.

HOPEGATE WILL BE OUR JUNE MISSION FOCUS
Today is the day we’re wrapping up our Baby Bottle campaign for Hopegate. If you’d like to contribute, envelopes are also available in the Welcome Center and front vestibule and can be dropped in the collection plate. In June, we will be collecting packages of diapers (any size) and baby wipes for Hopegate.

PRAYER CIRCLE
The Prayer Circle will meet this Wednesday at 9:30am to send cards of support to people and to continue their study of the Bible with Pastor Jira Albers.

WI-FI CONNECTION/PASSWORD
We have wi-fi in our sanctuary which is active during worship services only; those of you who use your smart phones for worship related activities (bible research, or your sound translation apps) can now do so. To access, go into your connection settings, and search for, “Wysox Church Sanctuary,” and enter the password, “egatvxqzdc.” If you need help, just call on one of our “techie” elders who can help you set this up.

WELCOME
Welcome to this service of worship, where we remember with reverence and thanksgiving those who gave their lives for our country. Above all, we remember our Lord Jesus Christ, whose love reaches across all nations and who gave his life for us all. May our remembrance today lead us toward reconciliation, gratitude and peace.

WEAR RED THIS SUNDAY
Everyone is encouraged to wear something red this Sunday for Pentecost.

OFFICE CLOSED
The church office will be closed tomorrow for Memorial Day.

BABY BOTTLES DUE BACK NEXT SUNDAY
Please bring your baby bottles back next Sunday to be returned to Hopegate. If you would prefer to give a check or cash there are Hopegate envelopes in the Welcome Center on the bulletin board or you can put one in an empty bottle found in the Welcome Center or front vestibule.
