We are Christ's body when He lives in us. That happens when he moves in by filling us with the Holy Spirit. Belief is the starting point, but not the fulfillment of salvation.
Believers should be filled with the Spirit after having believed, not assuming that they have the Spirit because they believed.

1. Belief, 2. Repentance, 3. Water Baptism, 4. Spirit Baptism.
3 & 4 may be reversed, but 1 & 2 always come first. All 4 are essential elements of the new birth and the beginning of salvation.
