God sees you.

He sees your silent prayers like Hannah's. He sees your loyalty like Ruth's. He sees your willingness to listen like Samuel's.

Their examples remind us that the Lord values a willing and faithful heart above all else "...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart."

As you study this week, remember that God sees beyond appearances. He knows your struggles, your faith, and your efforts to follow Him.

There are moments in life when the path toward something good seems blocked on all sides. The Israelites experienced this. Generations of waiting — and when the moment arrived, there were still rivers, walls, and battles ahead. But God told them something that changed everything: "For the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

“Come, Follow Me” is that weekly reminder that you do not walk alone. Dedicate time to studying it!

Gideon was not a mighty warrior when the Lord first called him. Yet the Lord gave him this promise: “Surely I will be with thee” (Judges 6:16).

He was unsure if he could really do what the Lord asked. But as he chose to trust God step by step, the Lord strengthened him and helped deliver Israel.

Gideon’s story reminds us that we do not need to be the strongest, smartest, or most confident to receive God’s help. As we turn to Jesus Christ and trust in His guidance, He can help us do things we could not have accomplished alone.

How many times have you gotten so close to something important, only to have tiredness, distraction, or the daily grind make you forget why you started?

Moses dedicated more than forty years to preparing a people. He began on a mountain with a burning bush and ended up on another mountain, viewing from afar that he had worked so hard.

He never set foot in the promised land. And yet, he arrived. Because the goal was never a place, but rather to learn to love God, obey Him, and remain faithful.

We are deeply saddened at the sudden passing of Elder W. Mark Bassett, a General Authority Seventy who had been serving since April of 2016. Elder Bassett passed away on May 11, 2026, as a result of a traumatic brain injury. He was with his family in St. George, Utah, when the incident occurred.

At the time of his death, Elder Bassett was serving as the Executive Director of the Missionary Department, overseeing worldwide missionary efforts. His service in this calling coincided with a period of historic growth in missionary efforts around the world and unprecedented levels of missionaries deciding to serve. Elder Bassett will be deeply missed and always remembered for his great faith and dedicated service to the Lord Jesus Christ.

During a devotional for missionaries held at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah, just days before his passing, Elder Bassett bore testimony and challenged missionaries to “Invite everyone to come—and do everything you can to help them enter this beautiful gate, which leads to eternal life." His devotion in life reflected these teachings and leaves a loving legacy for all.

Our love and prayers are with his dear wife Angela, his children, and his grandchildren during this difficult time.
