Assembly of Yahweh in North Alabama We meet each Shabbat to search Yahweh’s word. We strive to learn, keep, and do his commandments. We were brought to a place of repentance.

The Assembly of Yahweh in North Alabama begin in 2002 as a Word of Faith Assembly. Our study of the Scriptures made us painfully aware of the errors in many of our doctrines. Yahweh in His mercy and by His Holy Spirit caused us to understand that Torah is His Instruction and it stands forever. We forsook S'day as the day of worship and embraced His Shabbat. We forsook the pagan holidays and embraced the moedim (appointed times/feast days). We now understand that sin is the transgression of the law and are committed to learn, keep and do His commandments (Deut 5:1): All of them. Because we do not live by bread alone but by EVERY Word that proceeds from Yahweh. We are certain that those who will enter in through the gate and have access to the tree of life are those who keep the commandments of Yahweh and have the faith of Yahushua HaMassiach (Rev 22). For the past few years we have been meeting in homes. Our Assembly is made up of believers from various parts of North Alabama so we rotate our meeting place from Shabbat to Shabbat. We meet in Woodville/Scottsboro area, Huntsville/Madison area, Hanceville and Garden City.

Today we’re sending Will off with lots of love and prayers as he heads to New York, where he’ll be starting college and continuing to do what he loves, playing baseball. Off to a new state, a new school, a new team, and a whole new adventure ahead of him.

Since most of you don’t have the pleasure of knowing him personally, let me fill you in a little.

There are very few people in my life that I’ve met who have such a genuinely kind and selfless spirit. Will loves Yahweh and his family fiercely, and you don’t have to be around him long to know that. It’s just part of who he is. His wisdom has exceeded his years since he was young, and his character has always spoken for itself.

Calling him a man is still a bit of an adjustment for those of us who still see him as a little boy, but the truth is, it’s a title he’s earned. Not just because he’s reached a certain age, but because of the way he lives, the way he loves people, the way he carries himself, and the choices he makes when no one is making him make them.

There will absolutely be a Willie G-sized hole here. In our assembly for sure, but with a doubt in his family without his constant presence. We’re going to miss him more than he probably realizes. But man, are we excited to see what Yahweh has sent him to New York to accomplish.

Will, we love you. We are so very proud of you, and we’ll be right here in Alabama cheering you on and counting down the days until you come back home!

May Yahweh bless you and keep you.
May Yahweh make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May Yahweh lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
