The vision of our ministry is evolving! The Lord has given us a burden for OUTREACH! We plan to change into a direction of ministry outside the church walls. We covet your prayers as we follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit along this journey!

Here’s a hint.....

It’s Monday! May the Lord bless you and keep you all week!

I’ve seen that today is the start of “pride week”. The LBGT community will have there lifestyles on display this week more than you normally see. Their “rainbows” will be out in full force. What should our stance be as Christians? That’s easy..... we love them all!

When select groups of believers “hate” on any one single people group, as a group you damage any opportunity of sharing Christ with people in that people group. No matter if you group them because of the color of their skin, their heritage, their lifestyle or any other part of their lives you use to isolate them. And that folks, is just wrong!

The Bible teaches us that Jesus died for ALL! Not only you and your circle and those you feel comfortable with. Jesus made religious leaders uncomfortable while He was here. If it makes you uncomfortable to love the sinner, while not loving the sin, you might need to spend some time with God, one on One.

I’ve heard the argument about rainbows being a promise from God and not the “freak flag” of the LBGT community. But I say this. Why fight it. It only causes division. LOVE THEM. Love them UNCONDITIONALLY! Then help them discover the truth through the scriptures. We can’t “educate” anyone anyway. It’s the Holy Spirit that does this.

To close today, I’ll simply put my pastor’s words to use once again....

YOU ARE LOVED!

Good morning! Last night we had a great gathering of friends and family at our house! We had church friends, old high school friends, work friends and a few family members too. The coolest part? Everyone just had a good time and relaxed!

When we are surrounded with people who may not share our faith, who are we? When we have church friends around, how do we present ourselves? Is there a difference? Do you show your true self? Do you put on your “church face”? Do you just “let your hair down” and be you, no matter what?

The bottom line is this, God knows our hearts. Don’t try to be something you’re not. Just be real. At all times. Let people know that you are a Christian, but you don’t have to be a stick in the mud. You have JOY! Let other Christians know that we don’t have to “fake it”. We are all sinners saved by His grace!

Enjoy your Sunday! And remember “You Are Loved”!

Good morning! I hope this weekend showers all of y’all with His blessings and mercies!

I’m having a get together this evening at our house. We are expecting several friends and family members. It will surely be a great time! The fellowship is what I’m looking forward to the most! The food and singing and just laughing and enjoying the time together! It will be a great celebration!

There’s another “Great Event” coming sooner than we all want to imagine. We are all headed towards a meeting with our Creator! No matter if it follows our final breath here on this earth, or if it follows the sound of a trumpet, we will all be face to face with God one day!

I think back to a great old gospel song. (My good friend, Mrs Terri Ingram, used to sing it!) “They Can’t Start The Celebration Til I Get There” was the name of that song. I loved hearing her sing it! Once we are “there”, the celebration will start! We will crown Jesus King of kings and Lord of lords forever! A million years will seem as just another day! Eternity with our Savior will be started!

Are you preparing? The Lord is preparing for you to come! He wants you to make it home! Are you doing your part?

I’m praying today that you’ll be at The Celebration with me! Ask Jesus to come into your heart! Give Him your life to use to reach others! Surrender to Him today before it’s too late!

Have a blessed and wonderful day friends! And remember, in the words of my pastor, Timothy Payne, “You Are Loved”!

It’s Friday! I pray y’all have had an amazing week!

Today I want to simply ask you one question. Who saw Jesus in you this week? Let that question ingrain in to your heart today. With all the turmoil in our world lately, be the light in the darkness! Put the love of the Lord on display!

No matter what comes our way today, let’s allow The Light to illuminate the darkness this world is casting.

Enjoy your day! Be safe this weekend. And remember the words of my pastor, Timothy Payne, “You Are Loved”!

Good morning! I hope y’all have had a great week! With all that’s churning in our world lately, it hasn’t been the most restful time for us all. Prayerfully we are ready to relax, recharge and prepare for a wonderful day in the Lord’s house tomorrow!

One commonality I’ve heard talked about lately is the lack of one thing.... love in our hearts for others. I’ve been closing each post with words of my pastor, Timothy Payne. Those words are “You Are Loved”! I’m not sure where that started for him. But I can tell you that it has impacted me more than I could have ever imagined it would. From the very first time he sent me those words in a text on a day that wasn’t my best day, to the closing of each of his FB videos where he reminds us all that “we are loved”, it has changed me. Love has a tendency to do that.

God flipped the script on the world with love, when He sent His only Son to this earth. God had a plan. His Son carried out that plan.... with love. Jesus freely gave His life for you and me! Because He loved us in spite of ourselves and our sinful ways. What a change it was when Jesus proved His love for us!

This weekend I have a challenge for you. Tell everyone you can that they are loved. Not by simply saying “I love you”, but use the phrase “You Are Loved” when you can. Because it’s true! Even when we tell people we love them, it might not register. And honestly, we may not “love” them like we should. But when we tell them “You Are Loved”, it’s always 100% truth! We love them of course. But Jesus Loves them so much deeper and more than we do! He knows every little thing about us all, and yet He loves us!

Be blessed this weekend my friends! And remember to share these words.......

YOU ARE LOVED!!!!

Good morning! It’s Friday! I hope you all have had a great week! My week has been blessed for sure! Although there was something I did that I felt bad about. I have a cousin, that for the last 35 years, I have always wished him a happy birthday on the day of his birthday. I knew it was coming, and I totally forgot to call him! I felt awful to be honest. I called him the next day and of course all was well!

Have you ever done something that maybe you didn’t intend to? Or something you knew better than to do, but did it in spite of it all? I have. Many times unfortunately. Now we’ve potentially upset someone. Damages have been done. Now what do we do? If you’re like me, you’re not able to shake it until you try to make it right.

Have you ever done this with your journey with the Lord? Again, I absolutely have. The wonderful news here, is that He will not hold it against us! His grace will abound! 1 John 1:9 simply erases all doubt on whether we can find forgiveness or not. (If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.)

What a beautiful thought! We can admit our short fall, ask for forgiveness and (I love the next part!) He is FAITHFUL to forgive us! But, because of how awesome He is, God doesn’t stop there! The Bible says He will cleanse us! He cleans all of the mess from our hearts if we let Him!

Be blessed today family! Walk in His grace today! And as always, remember the words of my pastor, Timothy Payne, “You Are Loved”!

Good morning! This is going to be a beautiful day! As soon as I opened the door to let my dogs out I heard birds singing and chirping so loud I thought I was at a concert! God was showing off this morning! I even had a “smoke and light show” to go with the “music”! (The sunrise and the fog we have this morning 😂) This all put my thoughts squarely on one question..... do we listen closely enough to hear the Lord in our lives?

I’m not a huge proponent of the necessity of formal seminary or bible college education. I truly believe in the simple “call” into ministry. I also believe God calls us to Him, to have a personal relationship. But to hear that call, you must be listening for His voice. Before we even receive the free gift of salvation we have to hear Him. Christ is calling us to what I consider the “4 S’s”.

First, we must hear His call to the first “S”, and “Surrender” to the Holy Spirit. Secondly, we hear the call to “Salvation”. Once we receive salvation, we then are called to be“Sanctified” through the following of Jesus. And the final “S” is we then must hear His call to “Serve” His kingdom here on earth.

Are we serving? Are we hearing His call? Listen for His voice today. Feel the presence of His Holy Spirit in your life. Allow God to stir things up for His good in your life!

Have an amazing day family! And as always, remember the words of my pastor, Timothy Payne, “You Are Loved”!

Good morning! You know what’s cool? When you have that one friend or family member, that no matter how long it’s been since you’ve talked or seen each other, then you guys get together and you don’t skip a beat! My cousin Brad is that guy for me.

Brad and I are just 8 days apart in age. (He’s older! 😂) We grew up like brothers instead of cousins. We even moved out of our parents homes for the first time together when were just 18yrs old. As life went on, he went his way and so did I. But over the years we’ve always found a way to get together from time to time. And when we do, there’s nothing but love and reminiscing about our past and talking about what’s been going on for both of us. It’s always an amazing time to just “catch up”!

No matter who that one person is for you, there is someone else that will be the same way in your life and in mine as well. That Friend is Jesus! No matter how long it’s been, He is right there ready to “catch up”! There won’t be any grudges held for the time apart. There won’t be anything to do to make up for not staying in touch. It will just be Him loving you like He always has!

If you haven’t sat and talked to Him lately, spend some time with Him today! He’s waiting. He wants nothing more than to just hear from you! He wants to know that we want to be in a daily relationship with Him. Just think of how amazing it will be to “catch up” with the One that loves us more than anyone else in this world!

Have a blessed day, full of His grace, and His mercies! And remember, in the words of my pastor, Timothy Payne, “You Are Loved”!

(Check out Luke 15 today and know Jesus is waiting with open arms!)
