The Woodland Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, sometimes referred to as "The Disciples," or just the "DOC," was established in Woodland in 1854. As part of the Second Great Awakening of the 19th century, the DOC sought to abandon all denominational labels and leave governing of individual churches up to their congregation. Here at The Christian Church of Woodland we celebrate our LGBTQIA+ siblings. We welcome them and open our church doors wide, we affirm the wholeness of their existence, and believe they bring gifts that only strengthen our shared spiritual community and existence in siblingship with Jesus.

Tomorrow, we will have a table at Davis Pride from 4-9pm.

On 6/20, we will be out at Woodland Pride walking in the parade and will have a table set up as well.

Come by and say hello! We will have prizes, free hugs, a craft, and just want to meet you and remind you that you matter.

God loves us because of who we are, not in spite of who we are. Never forget that.

Hey Church Friends & Family -

We have a few things on the horizon that we'd like to invite you to:
Book Study: Starts tonight at 6:30 in the Library. We are reading "Better Ways to Read the Bible" by Zach Lambert. There are a few extra copies at the church if you want to join in!
