With Heavy Hearts, We Share the Passing of our Beloved Church family member, Arne Waltmire.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a very devoted church leader, a kind and faithful man, and a loving, devoted family man.

He faithfully served the Lord and our church family with humility, compassion, and dedication. His gentle spirit, wisdom, kindness, and steadfast faith touched the lives of so many. Beyond his service to the church, he was deeply devoted to his family and the community and cherished the role God gave him as a husband, father, grandfather, and loved one.

We extend our deepest love, prayers, and condolences to his wife Diane and their family and all who mourn his passing. May God surround them with His peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time.

His faithful service and loving example will not be forgotten. We are grateful for the life he lived, the faith he shared, and the lasting legacy he leaves in our church and community.

Rest well, faithful servant, Arne. Until we meet again. 🙏🕊️

At the Boutique, we had a blast last weekend. We served the community by reselling your generous donations. Please keep donating and we will keep giving to those who are in need.

We are planning on relocating the Boutique in a much needed BIGGER room (library) at the church so that we can offer more items and more “elbow room”.

FROM THE "BULL" PEN

The Power of "Yet"

Pastor Steve Bullmer

Last week I walked past a vending machine where a Hershey Bar
was lodged between the window and the place where it was
supposed to be dispensed. I admit I gave the vending machine a push to see if I could get a free chocolate bar, but the Hershey Bar
didn't budge. A little later, a kid came along and tried even harder to dislodge the free goodie, but to no avail.

Life is full of frustrations. So rarely do things work out the way they
are supposed to on the first try. And after a few (many?) tries
to no avail, we want to throw up our hands and give up...
until we change just one little thing--add the word "yet"
to the end of the sentence:

I can't do this...yet.
I'm not good at this...yet.
I don't understand this...yet.
It doesn't work...yet.
This doesn't make sense...yet.

Even Jesus had times like that. In the 8th chapter of the Gospel of Mark, the people of Bethsaida brought a blind man to Jesus and begged him to heal the man. Jesus made a first attempt and then asked, "Do you see anything?" He looked up and said, "I see people; but they look like trees walking around."
His sight was not returned...yet.

Jesus tried a second time, and this time the man's eyes were opened and his sight was restored (Mark 8:22-26). The power of the word yet can turn frustration into determination. It can turn failure into success.
