Walking in love means more than loving those who love us back. It means showing grace, extending forgiveness, and serving others as Christ served us.

"Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us." - Ephesians 5:2

Jesus didn't love only when it was convenient. He loved sacrificially. He loved unconditionally. He loved us enough to give Himself for us.

Walking in love is not just something we don on Sundays - it's a daily response to the incredible love we've received from Jesus.

This past Sunday we were reminded of God's call to imitate Him by walking in love each day.

Walking in love is more than a feeling - it is a daily choice to reflect the sacrificial love of Christ in our words, actions, and relationships. as followers of Jesus, we are called to love others because He first loved us.

May we be known as people who walk in love, bringing the hope and grace of Christ to everyone we meet.

This past Sunday, we looked at Ephesians 4:29-32 and the call to "Total Abstinence" from harmful words, bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. In stead, God calls us to speak words that build others up, to show kindness and compassion, and to forgive one another just as Christ has forgiven us.

May we allow the Holy Spirit to transform not only our actions, but also our words and attitudes, sos that our lives reflect the grace we have received in Christ.

Our special guest, Brian Thorstad, shared a message from Genesis 39: Joseph: A Man Without Bitterness - "With God in the Pits".

Joseph faced betrayal, hardship, and imprisonment, yet he refused to let bitterness take root because he knew God was with him every step of the way.

No matter what pit you may find yourself in, remember: God is with you there too.

God calls us to more than simply stopping wrong behavior - He calls us to a transformed heart. Instead of taking, we are called to live generously, work faithfully, and become people who bless others.

When Jesus Changes us, selfishness is exchanged for generosity, and empty living is exchanged for purposeful living.

As we continue to work our way through Ephesians, we were reminded that as followers of Christ, our words matter and our anger must be surrendered to God. Truth builds unity, while unchecked anger opens the door to division.

May we be people who reflect Jesus in both our speech and our responses.
