What does it look like to walk wisely in a world that constantly pulls us in different directions?

Ephesians 5:15-17 reminds us to "look carefully" at how we love - to make the most of every opportunity and to understand what the Lord's will is.

Wisdom isn't simply knowing what is right. It's choosing to live it out - making the most of the time God has given us and seeking His will in every area of our lives.

Are we walking wisely...or simply walking with the crowd?

How do we shine for the Lord in the midst of a pitch-black world?

Ephesians 5:7-14 reminds us that we were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord.

What happens when light hits sin?

Illumination - God's light reveals what is hidden.
Conviction - His Spirit shows us what needs to change.
Correction - We respond by turning from sin and walking in what is good, right, and true.

We don't overcome darkness by becoming like it. We shine by walking in the light.

Walking in the light means ch losing what is good, right, and true and seeking to live in a way that pleases the Lord.

May our lives reflect the light of Christ - not just on Sunday, but every day and everywhere God has placed us.

This past Sunday, we continued our journey through Ephesians with a powerful reminder from Ephesians 5:11-14: as followers of Christ, we are called to walk in the light - not to blend into the darkness around us.

Paul challenges us to recognize the things that belong to darkness, bring them into the light, and live openly in the truth of Christ. We don't walk in the light because we are perfect; we walk in the light because Jesus is the Light.

May we be people who don't simply avoid the darkness, but faithfully shine the light of Christ wherever God has placed us.

Sometimes life feels like you're stuck at the bottom, wondering if God has forgotten you.

This past Sunday, our special guest, Brian Thorstad, opened Genesis 40 in a message titled, "When You Can't Get Off the Bottom". Through Joseph's time in prison, we were reminded that even when our circumstances don't change, God is still at work. His plan are never delayed, His promised never fail, and He is faithful even in the waiting.

If you're walking through a difficult season, don't lose hope. The God who was with Joseph is the same God who is with us today.

This past Sunday, Pastor Bill reminded us that as followers of Christ, or lives should reflect His light in a world that often walks in darkness. Paul challenges us not to be deceived by empty words, but to live differently - pursuing what is good, right, and true.

May we shone brightly so that others see Christ in us.
