It’s Labor Day weekend and we sure are blessed!

Here at Free Church we are EXCITED! God is moving and working in many ways……The ride has just begun!

FREE CHURCH AND FRIENDS:

As you know by now, Donna Cheek’s mother, passed away at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Thursday August 27, 2026.

A graveside service will be held on Friday September 4, 2026, at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem at 1:00 p.m. and I will be officiating.

Food-drop off is Thursday, September 3 from 7-9 PM and Friday, September 4 at 1:30 PM at The Gathering Place/ Free Church location.

To send flowers or plant a memorial tree (SEE LINK) in funeral announcement. To send cards and monetary gifts, bring them to the Gathering Place and give them to Regina or bring to Free Church Sunday morning.

* Donna Cheek and her husband Richard helped us with the transition of Free Church to Midway area. Donna prayed 2 years and God answered her prayers. Their work and health has hindered them from attending every Sunday but their hearts still carry the vision for ministry at FC.
