1 Corinthians 2:10-14 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Struggling to understand the Bible? No problem! Peter, Stephen and Paul sum it up pretty well in Acts 2:14-41, Acts chapter 7 and Acts 13:13-52. Jesus gives understanding: Luke 24:45 and the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth: John 16:13. You must be born again because the Bible is the LIVING word of God. Spirit and life. Natural man cannot understand the things of the spirit. So please be baptized by water and Holy Spirit. Acts 11:27-30 Therefore, do not fall for the deception and lies of the enemy that make you "think" you can't understand the Bible. One thing is for sure, we can't understand it if we never read it. Perhaps a good place to start is with those 3 records. Also a good jumping off place is Gospel of John and Book of Acts. Then page 1 to the end, cover to cover! (Of course, ask the Lord to lead you in how you do it, but please do it.) It's an adventure you won't regret! Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He had the faith to overcome!
