Men’s Empowerment Sunday was on 8/30 at St. Paul. Rev. Lydell L. Thompson, CFP®, MS was guest speaker. His sermon was titled, “Stewarding the Seed that God has Given Us.” The day’s scripture was Luke 8:4-15. Worship through music was provided by St. Paul Men’s Chorus. Nate French, Wilson Weaver II, Daniel Shegog and Rebop Jordan assisted in leading the program for Men’s Empowerment Sunday. P.U.S.H. — Pray Until Something Happens continues to be St. Paul’s theme for 2026.

It was Children & Youth Sunday at St. Paul on 8/23. P.U.S.H. — Pray Until Something Happens continues to be the theme for 2026.

Londyn Foster, Lauren Patridge, Ezekiel Davis, Langston French and Jayla Brown helped lead the day’s program.

Worship through music was provided by the St. Paul Children’s Day Choir.

Pastor Ben Free’s sermon was titled, “Yes, Jesus Loves Me.” He is Associate Pastor Children/Youth. The scripture reference was Mark 10:13-16.

There was a special presentation given by the children/youth honoring Pastor Ben. At the end of service, he gave a blessing over them.

Children & Youth Sunday concluded in the fellowship hall after worship with a back-to-school supplies give-away, a taco bar and an ice cream sundae & Icee station. Attendees got to hear St. Paul’s new children’s choir.
