Tomorrow morning we kick off our new service times. Here is more information for our pre-k through 5th grade students:

We still have a HIGH need for children's ministry volunteers for Sunday mornings (at all ages). As we prepare to transition to one service, our desire is for a strong, rotating volunteer base rather than a small group of volunteers carrying the bulk of responsibility each week. This will ensure that our children are served well and discipled effectively AND that our volunteers can regularly rest and be fed. Please pray about stepping out and into this important ministry of our church. We are a body and we need each member functioning for full health.

We need 2–3 adults to step in and serve with our 1st–5th grade children’s church on a rotating basis. This is a simple but meaningful way to disciple the next generation at WBC—without the pressure of teaching. We already have volunteers who
prepare and lead the weekly lesson. Your role would be to come alongside them and support the classroom by:

-Helping children use their Bibles and find passages
-Maintaining a calm, orderly environment
-Facilitating small group review discussions

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d like to help, but I don’t feel called to teach,” this is a perfect fit.

The more help we have, the more spread-out the rotation can be!
