Bowman Sr. when he was obedient to the call of God. The first bible study was held on Tuesday, January 9th (Pastor Bowman's birthday), and the first Sunday morning worship service was held on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. The first message preached by Pastor Bowman was “Being Led by the Spirit” from Ezekiel 1:1-21. What a powerful, high-praise Sunday we experienced at SHM! Our Senior Pastor, Paulette Hardy Bowman , delivered an inspiring message titled "I Will Bless the Lord," anchored in Psalm 34.

David wrote Psalm 34 while facing intense pressure, proving that praise isn't a reaction to good circumstances—it's a spiritual weapon. Pastor Bowman challenged us to stop letting our problems dictate our praise. When we magnify the Lord together, He delivers us from all our fears and turns our trials into testimony!

Don’t let fear keep you out of what God has already promised you!

What a life-shifting word we received this past Sunday from Minister Ashlee Michelle ! Her message, "Don’t let fear stop you from getting to the promised land," brought fresh conviction and courage to the entire house.

Drawing from Numbers 13 and 14 , Minister Ashlee broke down the difference between the report of fear and the report of faith. Ten spies saw giants and gave up, but Joshua and Caleb saw the exact same land and knew that God would deliver it into their hands. Whatever "giant" you’re facing this week, remember: if God said it's yours, fear doesn't get the final say! 📖🔥

What an incredible Sunday Morning Worship we experienced this past Sunday at SHM! Our Senior Pastor, Paulette Hardy Bowman , delivered a profound message from Joshua 7 titled "Ai (I) Lost."

In Joshua 7, Israel faced an unexpected defeat at the small city of Ai because of hidden disobedience and self-reliance. Pastor Bowman challenged us to examine our hearts: Are we walking in God's divine instructions, or are we letting the "I" (self) take over? Real breakthrough happens when we clear out what doesn't belong and put God back in control. 🙌🛡️

What an incredible evening at our Revival on the Green! From dynamic worship to powerful testimonies, God’s presence was truly felt. Lives were touched through salvation, healing, deliverance, and restoration.

When God leads the detour, He controls the destination!

MIT. Esther Tutu preached this past Sunday with a powerful, timely word that gave us our marching orders for the week!

The Word: "God is in Control"

The Scripture: Exodus 13:17-18; 14:4-13

This past Sunday was a heart-filled and milestone moment at SHM as we presented the Pastor Ronnie S. Bowman Sr. Memorial Scholarship awards!

We had the absolute joy of recognizing three outstanding recipients who embody dedication, character, and vision. While two of our scholars were present to receive their awards in person, we also sent our love and blessings to our third recipient who was away!

This scholarship stands as a living tribute to the heart, legacy, and words of our late visionary, Pastor Ronnie S. Bowman Sr., who always reminded us:

"There is greatness in you!" ✨

To our scholarship recipients: We see that greatness in you, we are cheering for you, and we are covering your academic journey in prayer. Keep striving, keep believing, and keep shining!
