🕋The one who loves the Qur'an does not abandon its recitation, even if it is a little.

✅One of the greatest signs of success after Ramadan is to continue to do good deeds and not abandon them.

📖The one who loves the Quran continues to live with the words of his Lord, even if it is little in number.

🌙The important thing is not in quantity, but in consistency.

🌙“The most beloved deeds to Allah are the ones that are consistent, even if they are little in number.”
[Bukhari & Muslim]

🕋Fasting in Shawwal🕋

🌙Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“Whoever fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six days from Shawwal, it will be as if he fasted for the entire year. “
[Muslim]

🌙This is because the reward of a good deed is multiplied tenfold. So fasting in Ramadan is like fasting for 10 months, and fasting 6 days in Shawwal is like fasting for 60 days (two months). When added, they equal 12 months.

🌙Fasting in Shawwal is like praying the Sunnah prayers before and after the obligatory prayers, thus making up for whatever mistakes and shortcomings that occurred in the obligatory fast of Ramadan.

🌙Fasting in Shawwal gets you accustomed to fasting after Ramadan and is a sign of the acceptance of the fasting of Ramadan.

🌙When Allah accepts the good deed of a person, He guides him to perform another good deed after it.

🌙Alhamdulillah we fasted the entire month of Ramadan.

🌙Now, if we add to that 6 days in Shawwal, we can get the reward of fasting for the entire year.

🌙The 6 days of Shawwal can be done consecutively, or spread throughout the entire month, either way is permissible.

🌙The only day you cannot fast in Shawwal is the day of Eid, it is forbidden to fast on the day of Eid.

🌙If you missed some days from Ramadan, make up those days first before you fast for Shawwal (this is the best way).

🌙If you don’t have enough days remaining in Shawwal to do that, then you can do your Shawwal fasts before the month of Shawwal ends.

🌙Then, after Shawwal, you can finish making up your days from Ramadan.

🌙You must make up your missed days from Ramadan before the next Ramadan arrives.

🕋Keep the momentum from Ramadan going.

✅May Allah accept

🌙 Eid Mubarak 🌙

Alhamdulillah… we’ve reached the end of Ramadan.
A month of sacrifice, reflection, patience, and قرب to Allah.

Tonight is not just a celebration—
it’s a moment to ask ourselves:

Did we change?
Did we grow?
Will we carry this forward… or leave it behind with Ramadan?

Allah gave us 30 days to reset our hearts.
To soften them.
To reconnect—with Him, with our families, and with each other.

Let’s not lose that.

Let this Eid be more than just clothes, food, and photos…
Let it be a renewal of who we are as a community.

A community built on:
• Unity over division
• Mercy over judgment
• Accountability with sincerity
• Love for one another for the sake of Allah

🤲 May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, our charity, and our intentions.
🤲 May He forgive what we fell short in.
🤲 And may He allow us to witness many more Ramadans in a better state than the last.

Eid Mubarak to you and your families.
Let’s carry Ramadan with us… starting tonight.

🌙Zakat al-Fitr🌙

🎗️Zakat al-Fitr (زكاة الفطر) is a charity that is obligated upon Muslims at the end of Ramadan.

🌙It must be given to the needy in the form of food items.

🌙The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned it serves two purposes:
“It Purifies the fasting person,
And it Feeds the poor”

📖Abdullah ibn Umar reported:
“The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم obligated Zakat al-Fitr as one saa’ of dates or one saa’ of barley upon every male and female, the young and the old among the Muslims.”
[Bukhari & Muslim]

✅It is obligatory upon every man, woman, and child.
✅The head of the household pays on behalf of himself/herself and their children and their dependents, even a new born baby born in Ramadan.

✅The required amount is one saa’ (صاع) of the staple food of the land.
✅Examples of foods:
🌴Dates
🌾Barley
🌾Wheat
🍚Rice
🌽Corn or other staple food

🤲A saa’ is equivalent to 4 scoops of food using both of your hands.
💰It’s value today is approximately $15.

🌙Examples: a family of 4 would give $60 (4x15=60) to their local masjid who would take the money and purchase the food items and then distribute the food items to the needy.
🌙Or, that family of 4 can purchase the food items equal to $60 themselves, and distribute it to anyone they know in need.
🌙Or, a person can use both their hands to scoop rice (for example) 4 times and put it in a container, then do the same thing for other members of the family. A variety of different foods can be used. The total amount scooped can then be distributed.
✅Using any of these ways, this person has fulfilled their obligation of Zakat al-Fitr.

✅Zakat al-Fitr is to be given a few days before the Eid prayer.

🚫If it is given after the Eid prayer, then that person has missed the opportunity to give their Zakat al-Fitr and it becomes a regular charity.

✅Prepare early to distribute your Zakat al-Fitr so those in need can enjoy the day of Eid and we can build stronger communities.

🤲May Allah accept from us all.

🌙🌙The 🔟 best nights of the year are here🌙🌙

🌙The last 🔟 nights of Ramadan begin tonight

🌙The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would increase in worship during the last 🔟 nights of Ramadan

🌙Aisha رضي الله عنها said:
“When the last 🔟 nights started, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would tighten his waist belt,
spend the nights in worship,
and he would wake his family”
[Bukhari & Muslim]

🌙Tightening the waist belt is a sign someone is preparing to work hard, he would increase in worship more than the usual

🌙His nights were lively with worship like Prayer, reciting Quran, and Dua

🌙He would wake his family so they can also worship and earn the great reward

🌙🌙🌙The last 🔟 nights contain Laylatul Qadr

❗️Your worship tonight could be greater than the worship of 1000 months

🕋Laylatul Qadr most likely occurs on one of the odd nights (21, 23, 25, 27, or 29) of the last 🔟 nights of Ramadan

🌙🌙Tonight could be Laylatul Qadr❗️

✅Increase in your night prayers

✅Increase in reciting the Quran

✅Increase in making Dua

🌙The best Dua you can make during the last 🔟 nights is:
🤲O’ Allah indeed you are the one who pardons,
You love to pardon,
So pardon me
اللَّهُمَّ إنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ العَفوَ فاعفُ عَنِّي

✅Take advantage of these blessed nights as they are numbered and they will pass by quickly

✅May Allah accept your Fasting and Prayers

🕋Ramadan Reminders🕋

🌙The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
✅“Whoever stands (in prayer) during the nights of Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
📖[Bukhari & Muslim]

✅Taraweeh (Qiyam) is not just about long prayers, it’s about sincere faith and seeking reward from Allah alone.

✅Praying at night in Ramadan, even a few sincere rakahs at home is a door to complete forgiveness.

✅The scholars explain that the forgiveness mentioned here refers to the minor sins.

🌙As for major sins, they require specific tawbah that includes:
🌙Sincere regret
🌙Leaving the sin
🌙Firm intention never to return
🌙And if it involves people, returning their rights

🚫But don’t underestimate minor sins, minor sins can:
🚫Pile up
🚫Darken the heart
🚫Become heavy when ignored
🚫Become a major sin if done constantly

✅Ramadan is the season where Allah wipes them away completely for the one who stands in prayer with sincere faith and seeking reward from Allah alone.

🕋Ramadan is your opportunity to become more pure than you were before.

🕋Don’t miss the nights of Ramadan.

🤲May Allah forgive our minor sins, grant us sincere tawbah for our major sins, and make us among those who stand in Ramadan and leave completely forgiven.🤲

🕋Ramadan Reminders🕋

🌙The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
✅“Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking the reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
📖[Bukhari & Muslim]

✅Fasting out of faith means to fast sincerely for Allah alone.
✅He is the one who commanded you with fasting, therefore you complete the fast as best as you can.
✅Fasting is an act that is sincerely between you and Allah, no one truly knows if you are fasting except Allah.
✅That is why its reward is so great.

🌙We also fast hoping for the reward from Allah.
✅The reward can be an increase in faith
✅happiness
✅relief from stress and anxiety
✅a healthier body
✅a clearer mind
✅guidance
✅mercy
✅and that special place in Jannah.

🤲May Allah accept from us all.
