IYKYK. Happy Father’s Day to all the fellas out there! The human dads, the dog dads, the funcles, coaches, and mentors - we see you, we honor you. May today serve as a reminder that you are loved and appreciated and your impact ripples far and wide. 💛

We spend so much time listening to music, podcasts, reels, news, and all the noise competing for our attention. And let's be real, there's a lot of noise these days. And while there's nothing wrong with enjoying a variety of voices, it's important to ask ourselves, "What is shaping my heart and mind?"

One of the beautiful things about podcasts is that they allow us to fill ordinary moments (commutes, laundry, walks, workouts etc.) with truth, encouragement, and reminders of who God is. What we listen to matters, and it's worth choosing voices that point us back to God's Word and His character.

These are some of our favorite faith-based podcasts, but we'd love to hear from you! What podcasts are we missing? What are your favorite faith-based podcasts to listen to?

Let's turn this into a post that glorifies God! What are you praising the Lord for today? Tell us below!

This past week Pastor Jeremy delivered so much wisdom in our latest installment of our “God’s Design” series. His big idea around money was this: God designed money to be a servant in our hands, not a master over our hearts.

👉🏼Money can convince us that we don’t need what only God can provide us.
👉🏼Money is good at solving money problems but terrible at solving human problems.
👉🏼Money reveals where we place our trust. God deserves our first and our best.
👉🏼Generosity is the antidote to greed.

He does promise to always provide for you when you trust him. Every dollar we give is an act of worship to Him. Do you trust that He loves you enough to provide for you when you step out in your faith and give him your first and your best?

The rich ruler asked: “What must I do?”
Jesus answered: “Follow Me.”

"The things we say to ourselves are very important because they are formative of the things we desire, choose, say, and do. What have you been saying to you? What have you been saying to you about yourself? What have you been saying to you about God? What have you been saying to you about life, meaning and purpose, right and wrong, true and false, and good and bad? We either preach to ourselves a gospel of aloneness, poverty, and inability or the true gospel of God's presence, power, and constant provision." - Paul David Tripp

What gospel are you preaching to yourself today?

Giving can feel like a big step, especially if it’s new for you.

That’s why we created the 90-Day Tithe Challenge: a simple opportunity to trust God consistently in this area of your life. Did you know that in the Bible, this is where God says to test Him?

If you tithe faithfully for 90 days and don’t believe God honored your obedience, we’ll refund your contributions during the challenge period.

No pressure. No guilt. Just an invitation to trust God and grow in faith.

If you’re ready to take the challenge, fill out the form online at refugemaine.church/give to let us know you’re in!

"Did you ever think about that maybe where you are today is because somebody prayed for you?"- Forrest Frank

So that begs the question, who are you praying for?

This Sunday we talked about s*x.

Why? Because if culture is willing to have the conversation, the Church should be willing to have it too. Not with shame. Not with awkwardness. But with truth, grace, and God’s perspective.

The conversation matters because people matter. Covenants are a big deal. And God's desire for every human is to "yada" one. To know one and to know Him.

"Often we look to some change to be the answer, and even if it's a wise decision, a good move, something that is healthy, we forget that we're still human, living in a fallen world. There will still be things that are challenging. We are still in need of a Savior, and we need him every day. To rely on him. To look to him to be our joy, for him to fill us up and be the answer. It's like there are two layers - the first layer being that this is a wise decision and for the best; and the second, deeper layer being that we must remember that God is the only one who will ever fully satisfy our longing souls. No matter what season we're in, which gift we receive, we still need Jesus. And He is ultimately the best and truest gift." - Alyssa Joy Bethke
