"I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
I have set the LORD always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved."
— Psalm 16:7-8 (NLT)

Psalm 16:7-8 reminds us that God is not distant from our everyday struggles, especially in the quiet moments when our minds are restless, anxious, or overwhelmed. When we turn our thoughts toward Him, He gives counsel, steadies our hearts, and reminds us that we are not alone. Even in the night seasons, God can use stillness to instruct us, bring peace, and strengthen our faith. Because the Lord is with us and beside us, we do not have to be shaken by fear, uncertainty, or the pressures of life.

When life feels heavy, God is not distant.

Psalm 18:6 reminds us that when we cry out in distress, the Lord hears our voice. Even the prayers we whisper through pain reach His ears.

Whatever you are carrying today, bring it to God. He hears you. He is near.

Psalm 18:20 reminds us that God sees the way we live.

David walked through hardship, pressure, and unfair treatment, but he kept his heart faithful to God.

In today’s world, it’s easy to cut corners or give up when doing right feels unnoticed.

But God sees your integrity.

Keep your hands clean, your heart steady, and your faith strong.

The Lord is faithful to those who walk faithfully with Him.

Today we are grateful and blessed to receive God’s message through our District Superintendent, Dr. Tswv Txos Thoj. The message reminds us that parents are the first teachers called to lead their children to Christ, and encourages our young people to open their hearts and be ready to receive the lessons and gospel taught by their parents.

“In the LORD I take refuge…” — Psalm 11:1

There are days when everything feels uncertain.
Headlines shift. Values are challenged. Foundations feel unstable.

David asked the question we still wrestle with:
“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)

His answer was not fear. It was faith.
“The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven.” (Psalm 11:4)

When systems shake, God does not.
When justice seems delayed, God still sees.
When righteousness feels costly, God still loves what is right.

Psalm 11 reminds us that our confidence is not in culture, politics, or stability, our refuge is the Lord!

If this week feels heavy, return to the Word.
Stand firm. Take refuge.

“The upright shall behold His face.” (Psalm 11:7)

How is the Lord calling you to trust Him more today?
