Preached Word: Pastor White

A forever praise.

Do you have a forever praise? It’s easy to find ways to praise when you’ve just gotten good news, got the job, healed from the sickness, or got the financial breakthrough. But what about the ordinary times between those? Or better yet, what about the times when you lost the job, got the unwanted diagnosis, or when the month is more than the check? David shows us in Psalm 30:11-12 “Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.” Did you catch the last part? He says forever. In the good and the bad, God is God forever. His provision will sustain you, His presence will keep you, and His covenant reminds you of it all. Your job is to live your life in dedication and obedience to honor this covenant. Keep it Holy to so you can live in and out the forever part of praise!

The hidden voids. When fear holds hostage of what God has called forward.

God wants you healed and delivered. He wants you whole. He wants to see you free! Sometimes we let fears, insecurities and natural expectations stand at the doorways of deliverance. John 5:5-8 says, “And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” This man’s dependence on someone else for so long almost cost him his healing and deliverance. That is, until Jesus stepped in. The man had a void disguised as an excuse, but Jesus had the answer. Rise. You may have paralyzing fears that you disguise as wisdom and protection. Jesus says, “Rise.” You may have past hurts disguised as holding a firm boundary. Jesus says, “Rise.” Do you want to be made whole? If so, listen carefully, Jesus says, “Rise.”

Preached Word: Pastor White

When Jesus is your gamechanger.

There is nothing we can face that Jesus can’t speak to. When He arrives, atmospheres shift, scales get removed, healing is on the way, and change comes. He’s a gamechanger. What once was hopeless, is now possible with Jesus on the scene. Scripture says, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” (John 12:32 KJV) When He is lifted up, we are not. We are humbled. We don’t have to figure everything out, He already has. Every divine Word He speaks will come to pass. All that’s left for us to do is to trust that He is who He says He is. He’s the gamechanger, and He holds the whole world in His hands.

Sunday School: Prophetess White

I don’t have to defend what God has already established. When Spiritual Maturity teaches you the power of silence.

When you have been hurt, there is a battle between what your flesh wants to say, and what the Spirit of God tells you to do. Jesus models Spiritual Maturity in Isaiah 53:7. It says, “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” Jesus had every right to say what they were doing was wrong, but His obedience to the will of His Father was greater. The behavior of the enemies did not change his character. He has peace in the pain of what He was going through. So much so, that he prayed for his enemies. So how does that relate to us today? We pray for healing, but hold on to the wound. We lash out, we are our own judge and jury about what the pain had us say and do, and how we feel justified in our reactions to it. Full stop. If we pray for healing, we must not fight His ability to challenge how we use our defenses to how we have dealt with the wound. God doesn’t want to mask the pain, He wants to heal it from the root. That means your defenses you’ve tied to it have got to be open for Gods discussion too. You can be right about how you were mistreated, but wrong in how you responded. God wants to heal it all. You do not have to defend what He has already established. Let him mature you as he heals you.
