Happy 80th Birthday, Apostle Haywood E. James Sr.

Today we celebrate a man whose life has been a living testimony of faithfulness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to God and family. You are not just my father in the natural but our father in the faith, the root system from which so much of what God is doing through us has grown.

Your years of apostolic ministry, your consistency in the Word, your steady hand of correction and encouragement, and your example of what it means to walk with God across decades and seasons have shaped us in ways we are still discovering. You laid a foundation in PJoy & I, before we even knew what was being built. Every message we preach, every prayer we pray, every seed we plant into the lives of others carries the imprint of your investment.

From ROOT-FRUIT Church Ministries, we honor you today as our spiritual father and generational anchor. The vision God has given us to see people rooted deeply in the Father, grounded in Christ, and bearing fruit through the Spirit exists because you modeled that kind of rooted life for us first. You didn’t just teach us the Word. You lived it in front of us, and that has made all the difference.

We love you. We thank God for you. And we pray that this next year of your life overflows with the goodness, strength, health, and joy that you have so freely poured into others.
