Sunne Lutheran Church

Sunne Lutheran Church Sunne Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation located in Wilton, North Dakota.

In 1893 a group of Swedish immigrants gathered to form a Swedish Lutheran congregation. For over 128 years people have worshipped the Lord on top of this hill on the North Dakota prairie. Over the years, Sunne has become a congregation with members of many ethnic backgrounds, religious denominations and worship traditions. All those who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome to become members of Sunne.

Our sister in Christ, Muriel Rasmussen, passed away at the age of 97. Her contributions to the Regan community were many and so were her talents shared at Sunne. Her legacy will be remembered by many.

Muriel’s funeral will be held at Sunne on Monday, September 14 at 11am. Visitation will be held at Bismarck Funeral Home on Sunday, September 13 from 5-7pm.
