Dear Friends, Partners, and Fellow Servants of the Lord,

It is with profound gratitude and deepest joy in the Lord Jesus Christ that we present this edition of the Rising Hope Medical Center Quarterly Newsletter. From Bor Town, Jonglei State, South Sudan, a land that has experienced much suffering yet continues to rise, we write to share with you the remarkable work made possible by your prayers and generosity.

Rising Hope Medical Center stands as a testament to what God can accomplish through faithful people who answer His call. Each day, our dedicated nurses, clinicians, and health workers encounter patients arriving in pain, fear, and uncertainty. Each day, those same patients leave with restored health, renewed dignity, and, we pray, renewed hope in the God who heals.

A STORY OF HEALING, HEALTH & RESTORATION

RISING HOPE MEDICAL CENTER • BOR TOWN, SOUTH SUDAN

The fever broke just after midnight. Nyabel had carried her son for six hours on the dusty road from the cattle camp, certain she would lose him before sunrise. At Rising Hope, the lights were on. A nurse was waiting. By morning, the boy was sitting up, asking for porridge.

I. HEALING

This is healing — not delayed, not denied, but present the moment it is needed most. Every patient who walks through our doors meets trained hands, clean beds, and a staff that prays before it works and works as if it were praying.

II. HEALTH

Down the hall, an elderly farmer comes each week for his blood pressure check. A young mother learns to read her child's growth chart for the first time. A teenage girl receives the vaccine that will protect her for life. None of these are emergencies. All of them are why Rising Hope exists — steady, preventive care within reach for every family in Jonglei State.

III. RESTORATION

When the rains hit the ground the roads become muddy and the nearest referral hospital is a world away, Rising Hope becomes the difference between loss and life. This is restoration — of bodies, of dignity, of hope itself, one patient at a time.

Comfort here is not decoration. It is the fruit of excellence — and it is why Bor Town no longer has to face sickness alone.

URGENT APPEAL FOR RISING HOPE MEDICAL CENTER – BOR TOWN, SOUTH SUDAN

The people of Bor Town, South Sudan, face severe challenges accessing quality healthcare. The newly established Rising Hope Medical Center is working to provide primary healthcare, maternal services, treatment for common diseases, emergency care, and community health education to families who otherwise have limited access to medical treatment. The center was launched through the efforts of Africa Sunrise Communities and is preparing facilities, staff, equipment, and medicines to serve the community.

Immediate needs include:
1. Medical equipment
2. Essential medicines and supplies
3. Support for healthcare staff
4. Maternal and child health services
5. Operating funds for ongoing patient care

Every contribution can help bring lifesaving healthcare to children, mothers, and families in one of the world's most underserved regions. The project's organizers emphasize that recurring monthly support is especially valuable for sustaining operations over time.
