We believe every person has a God-given purpose. As people are rooted in Jesus Christ and his church, they will abound in good works that will bless the world.

Our mission is to encourage, strengthen, and equip believers to bear lasting fruit for God: transforming families, communities, nations, and the world, one life at a time. Rising Hope Ministries

Rising Hope Ministries is based upon the person and message of Jesus Christ and is established in His Word. The church exists to connect people to God through Jesus Christ, to grow disciples, and to relieve suffering of all kinds in our communities. In gratitude to God for His love and mercy, the church seeks to build peace, reconciliation, and reconcile relationships among different tribes in South Sudan. Mission Statement:

Rising Hope Ministries is a church whose mission is to affirm the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to a lost generation in South Sudan. We seek to bring healing, forgiveness, peace, love and hope through gospel communities that follow Jesus by obeying his Word. Vision Statement:

Rising Hope Ministries offers hope through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by connecting people to Christian community where they can “take root downward and bear fruit upward” (2 Kings 19:30). Purpose Statement:

The purpose of Rising Hope Ministries is to encourage, strengthen and equip members to bear fruit for God in their home, their community, their country and their world. Key Verses:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (Romans 15:13). For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

And the surviving remnant…shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward. (2 Kings 19:30)

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. (Proverbs 4:18)

🌅 FROM LEAVES TO HOPE: A JOURNEY OF FAITH, COMPASSION, AND SERVICE

📍 On 21 November 1987, I arrived at Pinyudo Refugee Camp in Ethiopia after fleeing war in Sudan. As a child, I experienced hunger, fear, and uncertainty. We used leaves and cardboard as plates, and every meal became a reason to be grateful. Faith sustained my hope, and Psalm 91 became a precious reminder of God’s refuge. 🙏

I share my story to encourage those facing pain, loss, or discouragement. Your pain matters, and you deserve compassion and support. Seeking help is an act of courage. Even when the way forward is unclear, hope can grow through faith, care, and the kindness of others. ❤️

🏥 My experiences continue to shape my commitment to Rising Hope Medical Center (RHMC) in Bor Town, South Sudan. Through this work, we seek to extend compassionate healthcare, uphold human dignity, and bring hope to individuals and families facing illness and hardship. 🇸🇸
