Today it seems like a lot of folks are taking The Bible as a grain of sand in respect to their desires instead of The Word of God. If you tell them this they throw in your face the excuse "The Bible says not to judge" but again with this they take it for how they want. We are to not pass judgment in the sense of I'm not going to tell you that you are or are not saved and I do not know the condition of your soul. But if you are claiming to be a born again child of God the bible has this to say over in (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV) "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine" That being said lets take the word reprove and define it " reprimand or censure (someone)" now lets skip on over to rebuke and define it "express sharp disapproval or criticism of (someone) because of their behavior or actions". I don't know when this whole heart on my sleeve teaching came about. As brothers and sisters in Christ we are to lift one another up but also hold one another accountable. Lets bring it down to the flesh side of things, how many people can actually say that if their sibling spit in the face of their mother or father whom have done nothing but give them everything in life; they could sit by and watch with their mouth shut? This is how I feel when I see people who claim to be saved by Grace and say that they are christian out partying, sleeping around, lying, and supporting sin like homos*xuailty, and abortion aka murder . You can say well that's not teaching that's not doctrine so you have no right to speak on how I live! But that's not so. We are to be a light unto this world, once we are saved it becomes our mission to serve The Kingdom of Heaven. So as you're witnessing to that alcoholic and trying to lead him to Christ you're teaching him by sitting on that tailgate downing Bud Heavy's that it's okay the way he's living. Or you're teaching that s*x addict about what God wants for their lives but you're out sleeping with tinder dates. You have entered the realm of false doctrine where blood is now on your hands. The Church has sit back and been silent too long while wolves in sheep clothing run around disrespecting the name of our savior because they'er too afraid to hurt someones precious feelings. If you're not going to honor him in your private and social life shut up and sit down. You're casting a shadow on the works of others. Here's the thing though, if you've managed to read this through and you have a problem with what was said, you're problem isn't with me. You have a problem with the gospel and that's a bad problem to have. Open your Bibles people, the answers are there. Speak to God and ask for direction because this path that so many seem to be going down to avoid being hurtful is destroying us. How long do you think The Lord will stand by and watch? Chances after chances were given to people throughout the ages in scripture before the hand of God became that of wrath. Grow a backbone, stand up for The Gospel. Do your duty as a Child of The King and respect his law.
