What if one weekend could encourage your kids and equip you at the same time? That is the heart behind Wonder Weekend: LEVEL UP.

This Friday at 7PM, we are kicking things off with a family worship service.

Then Saturday from 10AM–4PM, kids will enjoy two services, activities, games, food, and more. Pastor Travis and Jessica will also lead two breakout sessions for parents and grandparents, offering biblical guidance and practical resources for raising children in the world they are growing up in right now.

This is more than a kids event. It is an investment in the whole family!

Home is one of God's greatest discipleship environments.

Long before there was a tabernacle, a temple, or a church building, God placed Adam and Eve in a garden where His presence shaped every part of life. The first home began with the breath of God, and that same Holy Spirit still desires to dwell within His people today.

This Sunday we were reminded that the atmosphere of our homes is deeply connected to the condition of our hearts. Our spouses, children, family, and friends experience the overflow of who we are becoming in God's presence. When the Holy Spirit transforms us, He begins transforming the homes we live in.

We also saw that hiding has been humanity's response since Genesis 3. Fear, shame, blame, silence, and unresolved wounds quietly shape families. The Holy Spirit lovingly calls us out of hiding and into healing, conviction, restoration, and freedom.

Jesus didn't simply promise to prepare a home for us in eternity. He promised to make His home in us today through the Holy Spirit. His presence is meant to shape our words, our marriages, our parenting, our friendships, our reactions, and every ordinary moment of life.

As we begin this series, may this become the prayer over every heart and every household:
"Holy Spirit, make Your home in me and shape my home through me."

What if the change you are praying for in your home begins with what God desires to do within you? This Sunday, we begin a new series at Encounter Point Church titled "AT HOME: Where God’s Presence Shapes Marriage and Family."

Our opening message is “God Wants to Live Here.” We will discover how the Holy Spirit desires to dwell within us and shape the words, relationships, and atmosphere of our homes through us.

This series is for married couples, parents, single adults, widows, widowers, caregivers, and anyone who wants the people closest to them to experience the character of Jesus. Invite your family and friends, and join us this Sunday. God wants to make His home in us and shape our homes through us.

Join us at 10am at 131 Elliot Dr. Wilmington, NC 28405!

When Ruth began, Naomi believed everything was over.
She couldn't see Boaz. She couldn't see Obed. She couldn't see David. She certainly couldn't see Jesus. She only knew what she'd lost.

We often judge God's faithfulness using information from the middle of the story. God already sees the ending.

He sees connections you can't see.
He sees prayers that are still unfolding.
He sees doors that haven't opened yet.
He sees redemption where you currently see disappointment.

If you're living through an unfinished chapter today, don't confuse unfinished with forgotten. The story is still being written.

"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6)

Boaz accepted the cost of redeeming Ruth.
Jesus accepted the cost of redeeming us.

Boaz stood before witnesses at the city gate.
Jesus hung before the world on a cross.

Boaz redeemed one family.
Jesus made redemption available to everyone who would believe.

Grace is never free because it costs nothing. Grace is free because Someone else paid the price. Never lose the wonder of what Christ has done for you.

"For you know that God paid a ransom to save you... It was the precious blood of Christ." (1 Peter 1:18-19, NLT)

Bethlehem watched Naomi come home broken. They heard her say, "Call me Mara." They watched her walk through town carrying grief. Years later... The very same community celebrated God's redemption in her life.

Sometimes we want God to move us somewhere new so nobody remembers our failures. Sometimes God chooses to display His faithfulness in the very place where everyone saw the struggle.
Don't be ashamed that people watched you cry.

Give God enough room to let them watch Him restore. Your testimony may become someone else's reason to hope.

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." (Psalm 126:3)
