Mission i58, Costa Rica

Mission i58, Costa Rica Mission i58 is the ministry of Payton & Julie McKeithan, missionaries to Costa Rica. In 2005, we founded a ministry to orphans and neglected children.

The term i58 comes from Isaiah 58 and reflects our heart and passion for ministry. We currently lead this ministry and work in five homes and with approximately 80 children and their caregivers. We also founded and Pastor a bi-lingual, non-denominational church, Iglesia de la Costa, located in the Pacific coast town of Uvita. Through the church, we have established Hands of Mercy, a ministry that

collects and distributes food and used clothing to the poor and provides counsel and encouragement in their efforts to escape the poverty cycle. In early 2012, As part of our vision for transforming the community, the church recently opened a Youth Center called Centro de Vida (Life Center). The center provides a refuge for youth in the area with plans to include teaching English and computer skills and an after-school program for kids.
