We are so thankful for God's gracious blessing on FBC! We are in the process of honoring our Heavenly Father with the beautification of His house. We are seeing His hand in the lives of His people who are excited and joyful in service to The Lord. Much has been accomplished thus far and there is still some work to do and touchups necessary but we are a body of believers excited to serve our Lord!

!!!Christmas Caroling!!!

We will be going out Christmas caroling on Friday, 12/16. We will meet at church at 5:00 pm to go into the community and share God's love in song and by presenting gift baskets to individuals in our neighborhoods!

We are hoping to have a group of 8-10 carolers for the event but regardless of the number, we will still be caroling and delivering the baskets along with an invite to FBC.

Even if you are not able to participate in person, you can take part in prayer that His Kingdom will be well represented through this outreach.

Come and join us on Christmas morning for a time of praise and worship of our Lord who loves us so deeply that he came to this earth as a baby to give his life as a ransom for ours.

We will be meeting at 10:30 am for a time of Christmas carols, testimonies, and praises to our Lord.

Pastor David Chapman is our guest speaker on November 20th and 27th during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Services.

He and his wife Linda met at Cedarville College and were married in 1974.

Pastor Chapman began full time ministry in 1976 as a Youth and Music Pastor in Peru, Indiana then served in the same position in Amherst, Ohio beginning in 1980.

He served as Senior Pastor at Fostoria Baptist Church from 1985 to 2005 before accepting God’s call to become Pastor of Nottingham Baptist Church where he ministered until June of 2019.

Pastor Chapman was registrar for five years at Camp Patmos on Kelleys Island then trustee for twenty. He still serves on the general council of Baptist Mid-Missions and the board of trustees for Baptist Bible Institute.

Everyone is welcome.

Our dearly loved Cody Simons went to his heavenly home on October 31, 2021. The shared memorial service with his father, Clint Simons, will be July 23, 2022. See details in the obituary.

📢 🐶Spring Cleaning Alert! 📢 🐶

Our youth group is collecting used towels, blankets, and sheets to donate to Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups Rescue.

We’ve been doing on study on “Feed the Dog” by Brock Gill. In the series, he mentions part of feeding the “dog” is ministering to our community. We thought this was a very fitting outreach as we are quite literally helping dogs!

We hope you’ll look through your closets, laundry rooms and storage bins for any old blankets, sheets or towels you aren’t using anymore or are happy to part with! Perfect time to get in some spring cleaning and help the teens “feed their inner dog” by contributing to this outreach. Please contact any of the youth leaders if you have any questions.

Important details:
•Goal is 150!
•Collection runs from now till Easter
•Drop off in the designated bin in the Gathering Room or hand to a teen ☺️
•No dirty items (stains are ok, but must be washed first)
•Only used items (please don’t buy new)
•Needs to be bigger than a dish towel

Be encouraged that we’re called to cast ALL our anxieties on God, not just the minor worries or concerns, but the insurmountable, tumultuous ones too. It’s also encouraging to be part of this community where we can lean on each other and pray for one another. Hope you can take refuge knowing God cares for you and your tiniest anxiety ❤️
