500 YEARS OF GOD'S WORD IN ENGLISH!

In 1526, William Tyndale's English New Testament was printed, helping put Scripture into the hands of ordinary people.
Five hundred years later, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and conviction of those who labored to make God's Word accessible.
Join us for GCBC Reformation Weekend 2026 as we explore the English Reformation.

Soli Deo Gloria!

"Because God is an infinitely glorious, good, wise, holy, powerful, righteous, self-subsisting, self-sufficient, and all-sufficient being; the fountain and author of all being and good; the first cause, the last end, and the sovereign Lord of all, therefore, He is to be worshipped." -John Owen

GCBC was delighted to welcome Matthew and Emily Jay into our church family.
We are thankful to the Lord for bringing them to worship, serve, and grow alongside us.
Just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another. Romans 12:4-5

What are you building your life upon?

In Matthew 7:24–29, Jesus closes the Sermon on the Mount with a picture of two builders, two houses, and one storm. The difference wasn’t whether the storm came. The difference was the foundation.

Hear this message from Matthew 7:24–29, “The Sure Foundation,” and consider the words of Christ: are we simply hearing them, or are we building our lives upon them?

"Did Christ finish His work for us? Then there can be no doubt but He will also finish His work in us." John Flavel

Our church family had the privilege of gathering around this newly married couple, Jacob and Chloe Unger, and praying with them as they prepared for a new season in their lives. With a new marriage and his recent departure for Air Force Basic Military Training, there are many changes ahead for them in the coming weeks.
Please join us in continuing to pray for this young couple, for strength during their time apart, for encouragement and perseverance through the weeks of training, and most of all, that they would keep their eyes fixed on Christ and grow together in Him even across the miles.

GCBC celebrates as we recently had the privilege of witnessing the baptism of Chloe Lopez.
We have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4
