We are living in what Scripture describes as “the times of the Gentiles.” In Luke 21, Jesus points us to the signs of the times and describes the birth pains that will accompany this age.
In this message, we will explore seven important truths Jesus teaches us about the days in which we live:
🌎 Culture Wars — The spiritual and cultural conflicts that shape our world.
👑 The Rise and Fall of Kingdoms & Nations — The shifting powers and kingdoms of this world.
🌿 Signs in Creation — The signs in the natural world that Jesus tells us to watch.
⚠️ End-Times Prophets — The importance of recognizing deception and remaining grounded in God's Word.
✝️ Persecution for Following Christ — The cost of faithfully standing for Jesus in a world that opposes Him.
⚔️ The Gospel: The Church's Weapon — Our greatest weapon is not political power or worldly influence, but the truth and power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
⏳ The End of the Time of the Gentiles — Jesus reveals that this appointed time will come to an end as God's purposes unfold.
As we witness the rise and fall of nations and the growing conflicts of our world, we must not live in fear or lose hope. Instead, we are called to remain watchful, stand firm in our faith, proclaim the Gospel boldly, and trust in the sovereign purposes of God.
The world may be shaken, but God's Word remains true!
Join us at Hawthorne Baptist Church as we study what Jesus said about the times in which we live and how we, as His Church, are called to respond.
