O God, you led your holy apostles to ordain ministers in every place: Grant that your Church, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, may choose suitable persons for the ministry of Word and Sacrament, and may uphold them in their work for the extension of your kingdom; through the great Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

As we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost tomorrow, we invite everyone to wear red to church. Red is the liturgical color of Pentecost, signifying the fire of the Holy Spirit poured out upon the apostles. Join us in this joyful tradition as we fill our parish with a visible reminder of the Spirit’s presence and power among us while we gather for worship together.

Fr. Gregory had the honor in giving the invocation and blessing the new Williamsburg Police Department building, at the Grand Opening last week. Other chaplains from Temple Beth El, Life Church and Mt. Vernon United Methodist also joined in the building blessing and prayer with Chief Dunn.

We thank the men and women of the WPD for their dedicated service to our community and pray that God grants them safety, strength, and wisdom as they serve.

Fr. Gregory is not only our Rector at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, but also serves as Williamsburg PD's Chaplain while being an active officer himself.
