What could God do through a church planted in San Francisco?

We believe God is doing something significant in the Bay Area, and we’re taking the initial steps toward launching a church over the next 2–3 years.

On August 30 at 1 PM, immediately following the second service, we’re gathering for a San Francisco Vision Meeting to share more about the vision, the heart behind the church, and what we believe God could be doing in the years ahead.

There will also be a time for Q&A, so come ready to listen, ask questions, and dream with us about what God is doing in San Francisco.

If you’ve ever wondered what it could look like to be part of planting a church in San Francisco, we’d love for you to join us for an Vision Meeting on August 30 at 1 PM, following the second service.
We’ll share more about the vision, what these next few years could look like, and have time for a Q&A.

What an incredible week at Illumination Station!
This week was filled with worship, biblical teaching, games, laughter, and so many opportunities for kids to encounter Jesus. We believe Vacation Bible School is one of the best ways for children to grow in their faith, and we’re so grateful for every family who trusted us with their kids this week.
Thank you to every volunteer who served, every parent who partnered with us, and every child who walked through our doors. It was a joy to watch kids discover more of who Jesus is and to see God moving in the hearts of the next generation.
Thank you for making Illumination Station such an incredible week. We can’t wait to see you next year!

This summer, we prayed for breakthrough. We believed God would move, and He did.
Throughout Freedom Nights, we watched God transform lives. We saw people find hope, experience freedom, and encounter Jesus in life-changing ways. And one of the greatest celebrations of all? 23 people publicly declared their faith through baptism.
Every baptism is a story of God’s grace and a reminder that Jesus is still changing lives, bringing hope to the hopeless, and making all things new.
To every person who came, served, invited a friend, prayed, or took that next step in their faith—thank you for being part of what God did this summer.
We’re celebrating the 23 lives made new and giving God all the glory for every life He transformed.

Dear Church Family,

Please be praying for our dear friend Pastor Ian O'Boyle, his wife Danielle and the Gateway Church family in Georgia. We will be spending some time during our services tomorrow in prayer for Ian's full and miraculous recovery.

Thanks for your prayers.

Pastors Michael and Bonni

UPDATE 7/11/26 6:01 pm! GOD IS MOVING! 🙌

Please keep praying! We are praising God for what He is doing!

Today, while Danielle and Katie were in Ian’s room singing the chorus of Another One, Ian squeezed Danielle’s hand and moved his left leg! Since then, each time we’ve gone in to pray over him, he has continued to respond with movement. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s grace and faithfulness!

This is such an encouraging step, but we know the journey isn’t over. Please don’t stop praying. Continue to declare life, healing, peace, and complete restoration over Ian. We believe God is still writing this testimony, and we can’t wait to hear Ian tell the story himself one day!

Psalm 107:6–9
“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the Lord for His steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of man! For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He fills with good things.”

Let’s also remember the faith of the friends in Mark 2:1–12. They refused to give up. When they couldn’t get through the crowd, they climbed onto the roof, made an opening, and lowered their friend down to Jesus. Jesus saw their faith and healed their friend.

Let’s be those friends. Let’s keep carrying Ian to Jesus in prayer. Keep believing. Keep speaking life. Keep declaring healing. We serve a God who still works miracles, and we will continue to trust Him every step of the way. ❤️🙏

Original Post: Gateway Church, Pastor Ian O’Boyle was involved in a serious motorcycle accident yesterday, and we are asking everyone to pray.

Please pray specifically for his brain. That the swelling will come down, that there will be no further damage, and that God will bring complete healing and restoration. Pray also for wisdom for every doctor and nurse caring for him, and for supernatural peace and strength for his family.

His wife, Danielle, and many others are fasting for the next 3 days, please join them in this fast if you feel led and are able to do so.

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16 NIV

Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that the tongue has the power of life and death, so we are choosing to speak life, pray in faith, and stand together believing for Ian’s healing.

Please respect the family’s privacy and do not call, text, or message them at this time. The greatest way you can support them right now is through prayer. We will share updates as they become available and as the family is ready.

Church, let’s pray and believe together.
