This Sunday we begin a new sermon series: The Gospel.

We use the word gospel often. But what exactly is the gospel? What is the good news God has announced to the world, and why does it matter?

After tracing the story From Creation to Christ, we now turn our attention to the good news at the heart of that story: the gospel of God concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

We begin this Sunday in Romans 1:1–6, where Paul gives us one of Scripture’s clearest declarations of the gospel.

Join us as we begin The Gospel.

This Sunday we come to the final sermon in our series, From Creation to Christ.

The story of the Hebrew Scriptures ends with much still unfinished. And the prophets speak of something greater still to come.

A King is coming.
A new covenant is coming.
Yahweh Himself is coming.

From creation, through the fall, Abraham and Sarah, the Exodus, and the rise and fall of Israel’s kings, the story has been moving forward toward God’s promised purpose.

This Sunday we will stand with Israel at the edge of fulfillment, looking forward with hope, waiting for the promised Son.

Join us as we conclude From Creation to Christ and prepare to behold the coming of Jesus.

This Sunday our journey From Creation to Christ continues through the rise and fall of Israel’s kings.

Israel wanted a king like the nations around them. Kings came and went, Israel flourished and collapsed.

The story of Israel’s kings exposes the weakness of human rule, but it also carries a promise forward: God would raise up a Son of David whose kingdom would endure.

Kings rise and fall. Yahweh remains.

Join us Sunday as we trace the story of the kingdom through the Hebrew Scriptures and follow its promise toward Jesus Christ, the faithful King.
