❤️Happy Father’s Day! ❤️
This morning, Pastor Kevin spoke about our dependence on God and how surrendering is not a one-time event. For a lot of us, we don’t need to try harder, we need to surrender more.

Jesus’s blood speaks a better word! Because of Jesus’s death on the cross, we get to walk in forgiveness, mercy and peace!

“Your blood, a robe of righteousness

Does the fruit of your life reflect false wisdom or true wisdom?

James reminds us that wisdom from above looks different from the wisdom of the world. Let’s pursue God’s wisdom and allow it to shape the way we live.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.” — James 3:17–18

Fun morning at Storytime today! We’re so thankful for Ms. Rhonda leading us each week through stories, songs, rhymes, a Bible story, and crafts. 💛
One of our favorite parts is the sweet community and friendships built among moms, caregivers, and kids each week. 🫶

🕊️This Pentecost Sunday, Carson spoke to us about James 3:1-12 Taming the Tongue.

It’s interesting how something so small can affect something much larger… a bit in a horse’s mouth; the rudder of a ship; a spark igniting a flame. The same can be said of our tongues and hearts.

“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Don’t just watch your tongue, but surrender your heart! ❤️

What a blessing it was to dedicate these children to the Lord! Today these families made a declaration that they desire to raise their children to know and follow Jesus.

As a church family, we are committed to coming alongside them — supporting, encouraging, and praying for them as they raise their children in the Lord. Join us in praying for these families and for the next generation God is raising up!
