Crossroads Church NNK

We are praising the Lord for continuing to add to the body of Christ here at Crossroads Church! What a blessing to see His goodness in gathering His people and growing His church.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)

May Christ continue to build His church, strengthen our fellowship, and make us faithful to one another as we grow together in Him. All glory belongs to God alone! 🤍

Our hope is not in ourselves or anything we could ever do to earn God’s favor. Our only hope is Jesus Christ…His perfect righteousness, His finished work on the cross, and His glorious resurrection. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone.

We rejoice with our brother and praise the Lord for His saving grace! May his life bear faithful witness to the transforming power of the gospel, and may everything about his testimony point us back to Christ!

What a joy to celebrate the baptism of this precious 11-year-old today! 💙 What makes this day even more special is that he is our pastor’s son. We rejoice in God’s grace in his life and pray that he will continue to walk faithfully with Christ all his days.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

We would like to extend our thanks to the Town of White Stone for aiding us in clearing our icy parking lot and entrance so that we can gather safely.

What a sweet and joy-filled Sunday! From the very first notes of worship, our hearts were lifted as we praised God together in song. As the old hymn reminds us, “’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word…” — and that’s exactly what we rejoiced in today.

Pastor JW faithfully preached from John 20:30–31, reminding us that the scriptures were written “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.” What a gift to hear the Word proclaimed with clarity and conviction!

We also gathered around the Lord’s Table, remembering Christ’s finished work with gratitude. And our hearts overflowed as Kayli publicly professed her new faith in Jesus through baptism — a beautiful testimony of God’s grace at work. We are thankful to the Lord for adding two more members to our body at Crossroads!

What a precious morning of worship, truth, and celebration. Truly, “Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!” May we continue to walk in that sweet trust in the week ahead.

This group will be prayer-walking the neighborhoods of White Stone, Irvington, and Kilmarnock today, as well as ministering to the elderly communities at two local nursing facilities. We are thankful for our sending church, Petsworth Baptist Church!
