Today, on Yom Hashoah V'hagevurah (Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust and Heroism), we remember the six million Jewish souls lost in the Shoah. May their memories be a blessing.
We also honor those who bravely rose up in resistance. May their heroism inspire us to resist evil in all its forms, even today.

Never Again.

Lots of Mitzvot Happening at BAS! Our congregants delivered children’s hats, children’s chemo caps, and blankets for babies to the Mariel Fareri Children’s hospital in Valhalla - all handmade by our Mitzvah Knits crew! Tricia from the hospital noted that the patients and parents were thrilled with this gift. And our Social Action Team once again coordinated a successful food collection for Feeding Westchester. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers and contributors! Wishing Shabbat Shalom to all.
