(1) Content:
16-17) temple of God - 3x. The Holy Ghost or Christ in your body!
18-20) wise or wisdom - 5x. (-) deceive himself, wise in this world, craftiness, thoughts vain. (+) wise
21-23) No glory in men. All things are yours - 2x, ye are Christ’s, Christ is God’s.

(2) Complexity: 3:17 the man who defiles (grieve or quench) the temple of God in him, God destroys (withers or shrivels).

(3) Application: I must seek the wisdom of God day by day, hour by hour, and moment by moment. I must discern the wisdom of this world as contrary to the wisdom of God, in myself and those in Christ.

(4) Title: The temple of God in me and us

1-3) In a local church, individuals are sanctified, called saints.
4-7a) The grace of God is GIVEN to you by Jesus Christ. In everything ye are ENRICHED by Jesus Christ in all utterance
(Gk: logos) and all knowledge. You come behind in no gift.
7b-9) 2nd coming of Christ. Waiting, confirm to the end, BLAMELESS, day of our Lord Jesus Christ, God is faithful.
(1:1-9 repeats Jesus Christ 9x, God 7x)

Complexity: 1:8 blameless. When? 2nd coming Who? Called saints
Also rewards/crowns, 1 Cor 3:11-15, 2 Cor 5:10, Col 2:18
Tree-fruit-monthly-leaves-healing of nations, Rev 22:1-2. Why? I must see my calling and the calling of the other saints, that we are forever blameless positionally in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Application:
As a saint, I am part of the FELLOWSHIP of God's Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, I must live for his glory day by day. 1 Cor 16, 16:13-14,
Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 12:1-2, Colossians 3, John 15.
