We want to lead believers to...
-Understand their identity in Jesus (“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Galatians 2:20) Jesus is our life.
- Make worship a lifestyle (“Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1) Our
lives are expressions of worship. WHFBC leads its members to engage in real authentic worship not only during corporate times, but also in daily life. You were planned for God's pleasure, and it pleases Him to express Himself through you.
- Minister through their passions (“We each have different gifts according to the grace given us.” Romans 12:6) Jesus gives us our gifts, abilities, interests, personalities and other areas of our individuality to each others for Him and work out His purposes.
- Become fully developing followers of Christ (“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20. “And these things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” 2 Timothy 2:2)
