Well… we didn’t exactly invite the water into EGUMC but it certainly made itself at home!
In all seriousness, we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who jumped in (sometimes quite literally!) to help with cleanup and check on us. Whether you brought sandbags, shop vacs, working hands, encouraging words, or prayers you made a messy situation feel a whole lot lighter.
Special thanks to Mike Palmer for putting his off-road skills to good use by avoiding storm barriers to deliver sandbags and to Dave Kirby who arrived ready to power wash but also spent hours perfecting the art of making mud pies!
