Answer to 8/14 question: Cain’s offering was not a blood sacrifice. Without the shedding of blood there is no atonement for sin.

Jesus died on the cross and His blood was shed as the only sacrifice that will atone for our sins.

Tonight we started our “Through The Bible Basics” study. If you would like to learn more and dig deeper into God’s Word, this is the study for you and we would love for you join us. Our next session will be Thursday, 8/27, at 6pm.

It’s not too late to join. We have worksheets to work on each week which gives you time to study, then when we meet we discuss to make sure everyone understands what we have studied.

Throughout the week, we will post some of the topics we discussed in the form a question… post your answer in the Comments and let’s learn together!

Rev. Patrick Luke from Agape Liberia Missions will be with us for tomorrow’s service at 8:30am to share about the organization’s work in Liberia.

Earlier this year, Pastor Louis was able to go to Liberia to participate in a Pastors Conference and one of their Medical Clinics.

We are excited to hear about upcoming activities in Liberia and how we can help to spread the Gospel in this area.

In July, we joined our sister church (Cheohee Baptist) and Ebenezer Baptist for a mission trip to Camp Tipton in Maryville, TN.

It was truly a blessing to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ as we conducted a Good News Club (VBS style with lesson, crafts, music and recreation), assembled a stage that was prebuilt by some of our members who weren’t able to join us, built a treehouse, pressure washed different buildings at the camp, painted bathrooms, cleared hiking trails and gave their entry sign a facelift.

We had approximately 25 students each day and at the end of the week, we had 6 Professions of Faith. Praise God!!
